The view from the porch and out the windows is STUNNING. Beautiful river view, incredible sunsets. House had good AC and cute little v clean bathroom. Kitchen was fine. There is a set of steps to get up into the house, as shown in the pics, so might not be the easiest choice for someone elderly or physically challenged. But for most people, this little place might be just the restful spot they are craving! Thank you, Melissa!

2nd time booking was just as clean as the first!

We had a very nice time. The home location was very convenient to downtown. It was just a short drive. The home was very clean and cozy. The hottub was great as was the rest of the outdoor area. If the weather had been warmer, we would have been out there most of the time. A lot of natural light in the home. The home is very private. The mattresses are extra firm for those who prefer that. We would definitely stay there again.

I loved the place and I hope she lets us stay the next year even though I woke up late and forgot my clothes in laundry room and to throw out some groceries from the fridge but it's a lovely home one of my best stays

This was an amazing stay! Shelby is a great host. The place was welcoming and had everything that we needed. Such a peaceful and quiet getaway. The view was absolutely amazing. Fishing from the dock was a lot of fun and seeing all the stars at night was an awesome experience. Spent alot of time on the screened porch which was wonderful. The swing was my favorite spot 😃 Would definitely recommend this place!

Kate’s place is really comfortable and cozy with lots of attention to detail-the location is so beautiful and peaceful. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

We had a wonderful time at Melody’s Place! It was clean, very comfy, and super accommodating for all of us. We didn’t get to spend any time outside due to the weather, but the patio was such a beautiful set up. My 6 year old wants to go back!

the cottage in edenton was perfect for our get-away: crisp, clean and comfortable. we had everythng we needed. such a great use of space in the design of the house. the house is walkable into town and theona was friendly and quick to respond. should we return to edenton, this is where we will choose to stay.

The Littlejohn Carriage House is a perfect place for a couple visiting Edenton. It is in the heart of the historic district and a short walk to so many places of interest. It is quiet, cozy, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. We heartily recommend staying here.
