We loved staying at Laura's beautiful home! The ocean view was a joy to wake up to each morning and the location was perfect for exploring Acadia. Our kids loved going down to the beach to explore and we made good use of the firepit each evening after our hikes. Laura's home was cozy, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated how warm and welcoming Laura's communication was, and we are very grateful for the lovely memories from our trip to Lamoine!

Ingrid’s place was very clean and extremely spacious. It is much roomier than appears in the listing. We were all very comfortable here. In addition, the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. The place is very private and in a quiet area. We could hear the occupants in the unit next door, but they were not there very much. She provided some great info prior to check-in that was useful when determining what to pack and buy from the store. She also provided some great local recommendations. We stayed here while visiting Acadia, and it was less than a 30 minute drive to the visitor center. The seawall was only 10 minutes away and a great place to watch the sunrise.

A very cozy and well equipped cottage. Enjoyed the peace and quiet after a long day. Great place to stay for visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

My husband and I spent our babymoon at Jennifer’s place, and waking up to the stunning lake view each day was just what I needed to unwind. I asked Jennifer if there was cooking oil available, and her mom kindly brought us a bottle of olive oil before our arrival—such a thoughtful gesture! We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

We just wrapped up our second visit to the Sharp Lakehouse and can promise it will not be our last. A little slice of heaven- whether you’re traveling with the whole family or looking for a couples retreat this spot checks all the boxes. Extremely responsive & helpful hosts, instructions were clear and we had no issues or questions throughout our stay. Fantastic amenities, which makes for a perfect stay-cation. We can’t wait to continue to visit the Lakehouse for more years to come!

Our stay at Shipwreck cottage was nothing short of magical. Idyllic setting overlooking the bay, semi-private beach, panoramic views and a bathtub to die for. Everything was spotless and even though we had lots of rain & fog, we were cozy inside and enjoyed the calm, the view and the wildlife around. The host was friendly, communicative and accommodating and provided lots of restaurant suggestions and things to do. Bar Harbor city center is an easy & scenic drive from the cottage- about 20-30 minutes away. Acadia National Park has fantastic hikes- we did Gorham mountain, Otter cliff, Jordan Pond & the hikes around Sand Beach. We were pretty early in the season so some places in town were not open yet, but we preferred the slower vibe. Our highlight of everyday was getting back to the cabin to relax and enjoy the sunset (we did have a few despite the weather!!). Our only regret is that we did not stay longer.

This was our second stay with Devon and as usual it did not disappoint! It is exactly what we needed for a quiet getaway. It is very serene with sounds of the Loons echoing across the lake. Did not see a car or person in 4 days which was great. Devon was always in touch if needed and accommodating. Great kitchen with everything needed for a snack or a full meal. A very relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for everything we needed. What really stood out was Tim’s responsiveness; he was incredibly quick to answer any questions and made sure we felt completely taken care of throughout our visit. It made the experience even more seamless and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
