We look forward to welcoming you to Ballincard House! Take a step back in time and enjoy the charm of your private apartment located on the second floor of our 19th Century Georgian home. If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

The Swallow's Nest

Please don't come here - If you're looking for big city lights, mod cons & public transport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Very light and airy accommodation. Renovated inside the old stables attached to Eirke House a former glebe/rectory Georgian period home. Recently refurbished and ready to rent. Property is double glazed throughout and fully insulated. Ample parking close to Johnstown and 35 minutes from the medieval city of Kilkenny. Easy access to the M7/8 motorways. Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. One Drink Included.

A delightfully converted early 18th century historic dwelling, Gasbrook House Annexe provides cosy, self-contained living nestled in a peaceful village just east of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. This comfortable spot is perfect for a relaxing getaway, romantic break, or well earned rest and is an ideal base for exploring all the midlands has to offer. Surrounded by beautiful nature reserves this cozy space is devoted to peace and relaxation and a haven for nature lovers.

Blath Cottage

Guests have their own private attached one bedroom cottage at the side of the host home with a spacious bedroom, ensuite bathroom with electric shower, living area, kitchenette, oil heating, open fire, private patio & private parking. Surrounded by nature. 500m from the renowned Coolmore Stud. Within 5 minute drive from the scenic town of Fethard. Short drive to the Rock of Cashel, Kilkenny Castle, Cahir Castle, Swiss Cottage, Blueway & Slievenamon just to name a few.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.

Located halfway between Portlaoise and Kilkenny, this is the ideal spot to stop and relax in the scenic countryside while touring the many local attractions. The fact that we are in The Midlands, makes it's the perfect location to visit other counties from, as everywhere is within only a few hours drive. If you like space, fresh air, beautiful views and animals, this is the property for you!
