The Beach Bach

A classic kiwi beach bach. We welcome you to come stay on the boundaries of the Abel Tasman on our farm and amongst the nature and soak up the view of the Abel Tasman Foothills and Tasman Bay Ocean views. This is an old school 1 bedroom Bach with an amazing kitchen and living room centred round a cozy fireplace. Stay includes free unlimited Wifi with full kitchen and bathroom. The main reception is just 300m away for any help or local advise. The legendary Park Cafe is just down the road 100m.

Awaroa - Abel Tasman National Park

The Abel Tasman is one of "NZ's 8 Great Walks". The beautiful golden sands and pristine waters of Awaroa Inlet, and the Abel Tasman track are on our doorstep. Our Awaroa beachfront property is located on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park and the Cottage is nestled in our back garden. The cottage is not seaward-facing, only a few steps to the beach. We have a Necky Looksha 19ft Ocean double kayak, life jackets, dry bags, free to use to explore the estuary, the river or Awaroa Bay.

We are situated about a 10 min drive to beginning of northern end of Abel Tasman Nat Park. Continental Breakfast which includes cereals, fresh fruit,bread,milk and spreads. We have two rooms available, both of which you will have to yourselves on booking. 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and the other in the main area has a King size bed. Also separate laundry/toilet/shower area. Private entry and completely private to our upstairs dwelling. We are also a very quiet household so keep that in mind

This well crafted stone cottage is close to beautiful Golden Bay bush walks, old historic gold workings, lonely beaches, the Mussel Inn, swimming holes and much more. A striking building nestled in a tranquil and private setting, makes for a relaxing stay that would suit couples and solo adventurers alike. Literally on Kahurangi National Park's doorstep! The host's partner has developed an extensive network of tracks , some easy walks and some more challenging, with great views of the bay.

Tata Beach Cottage

Beautiful Tata Beach, Golden Bay. Our little cottage is tucked close into Tata Beach, just a short stroll for your morning dip. Warm and sunny, this clean and easy care space is the perfect place to come to unwind, relax and allow nature to wrap its blanket around you. We have kept the space simple and uncluttered and love the simplicity of the cottage. With some recycled building products, no fussy modern ornaments, no chairs and tables this is a small and uncomplicated place to relax.

Cosy, zen studio in the heart of Takaka village

Welcome to our garden property just 100m from the main Takaka shops. The studio is large and cosy with its own bathroom. You will enjoy privacy with your own deck but we are always around for a chat and love meeting new people. There are no cooking facilities (but we do have a fridge, kettle, toaster etc so you can enjoy your morning coffee and muesli etc). You are just two minutes stroll away from some truly great cafes and restaurants - The Wholemeal Cafe is our favourite, open 7 days.

Kaiteriteri, Marahau, Split Apple-Kowhai Cottage

A beautiful home in a stunning location overlooking Marahau, Adele Island and Abel Tasman National Park. Built with earth block and wood, this home has a warm and inviting character, surrounded by native forest, you will relax to the sound of Bell birds and Tuis. The master bedroom opens onto a private patio facing north, to capture morning sun and the ever-present view of the National Park. Two further bedrooms look out over native forest, creating plenty of space for family or guests.

The 'Flax Pod' cabin in Pohara, amazing sea views

Our unique Flax Pod cabin is a repurposed shipping container with epic views of Golden Bay. It suits a relaxed couple, has a comfy queen bed, sofa and kitchenette. Large bi-folding doors open onto a deck where you can totally relax, enjoy a cold beer, sink into a quirky hot tub and soak up the sea views. Its in a great location and a great base to explore Golden Bay from. Enjoy getting back to the basics, dozing in a hammock, a friendly weka or two and a spectacular night sky.

Beach Front Stunning Location Best views, located directly opposite the ocean our lower floor 2 bedroom apartment is set in an idyllic location in the National Park. Relax on your own covered deck. BBQ while watching the tide. Room for 6 people. 2 bedrooms (1 double and a bunk room) with a fold down queen size bed in living room, open plan living / Kitchen area, great indoor outdoor flow. 10 minutes walk to Abel Tasman walking track, shop/booking office, cafe/bar 200m along road.

In beautiful Golden Bay just 10 minutes drive from the main Town of Takaka, hidden away on a small Lifestyle block is our Family Home and The 2 bedroom Cottage which is available for you to rent. With walking distance to a quiet peaceful beach . Golden bay is full of other attractions and the accommodation is right in the middle of it. Our family of four live near by and will respect your privacy but the same time we are here to help you out with any questions you may have .

Kanuka Bush Retreat - Peace in the Abel Tasman

Paradise just 2km from the Abel Tasman Park (5 mins by car or a 30min walk). This private and off grid hideaway is a perfect spot to relax and recharge, write, create or have your own retreat! With beautiful views and native birdsong, this rustic cabin sits on a hillside within a community farm. It has Wifi, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and a two ring gas cooker. Private and clean compost toilet. Outdoor bath/shower shared with one other (See Guest Access).
