One bedroom cabin on 1500 private acres of the Quartz Mountains. The owners live on the same property near the cabin. Hiking, wildlife watching, fishing within walking distance. Cabin is 300 square feet and has two twin bunk beds and one full bed. A full kitchen with an apartment sized fridge. Bathroom with shower. Electric outdoor grill. Fire pit when weather permits. There is a smart tv with inernet. No more than 4 people in or at the cabin at any given time. Additional pet fee of $30

The home is equipped with WiFi, coffee maker, full kitchen, tv in every bedroom and living room, sleeper sofa and 4 queen size beds to make your stay comfortable. The Iron Door Cabin is a tribute to a fabled treasure buried high in a cave in the Wichita Mountains. Belle Starr and her gang were said to have hidden a vast amounts of gold in a cave and covered the opening with an iron door from a railroad car. Sightings of the door stretch back over a hundred years. Will you find these legendary riches? Nestled at the foothills of the mountains, The Lazy Buffalo has 13 themed cabins. The Iron Door Cabin sleeps 2 guests and has a king size bed.

The Bluebird Birdhouse Cottage provides a barrier free entry with an elevated deck, view of the water and a large round interior window. You are literally a few feet from the main street, shops and restaurants yet so private. The Bluebird boasts of a Nectar mattress, wireless internet, large television, coffeemaker, microwave, small fridge and many other amenities. This ADA friendly suite has a large bathroom with an oversized shower and the parking is designated and close.

The Cooperton Bank a unique historical property

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located near the beautiful Wichita Mountains. This beautifully restored cobblestone structure originally housed The Bank of Cooperton. The original tin ceiling and tin shingled roof have been restored. The vault now serves as a spacious bathroom with a vintage vault door. Original slate from the teller counter and early 1900’s teller cage has been used in the decor as well as maintaining the original colors on the walls.

The Old Homestead

Relax with the whole crew at this peaceful place to stay. 100 year old homestead farmhouse with aged character has plenty of space inside and out. Located near our ranching operation just a mile outside of town, you’ll experience a slower way of life, away from life’s distractions, while enjoying the open air and clear skies. And feel free to walk around and see the cattle and horses on sight, and if you’re lucky, Karen, our llama, might make an appearance as well.
