John’s mountain home was absolutely perfect. He easily approved a late check out to accommodate my son’s nap, he proactively let me know when the house was ready early, and he quickly addressed questions we had once we were in. The home was clean and inviting throughout. The attention paid to dog-friendliness was above and beyond! They had dog beds in a couple rooms and toys for pups to play with. The location is great, too. A quick drive to a few spots at the resort and 15/20 mins to some great breweries and wineries where my son and dog could play. I would definitely stay at John’s house again!

What a beautiful home and location!! Super peaceful and relaxing. Patricia is a consummate host who has thought of everything, with everything clear, easy and welcoming. Come to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of the region, or simply sit on the porch and listen to the river meander by. Under an hour to Lynchburg if you're in the area for Liberty University and need a great place to stay. Go eat at the Briarpatch Restaurant in Amherst, close by, but get there early. Apparently it is THE spot to go to for the locals.

We had such a lovely time at the ‘small house’! Jennifer was quick to respond with any questions we had (about the property and the town)! We loved playing yard games and hanging out by the water. The kitchen was stocked with spices and all the things we needed to spend time together cooking. We plan to visit again in the Winter!

This our second stay at the Roadhouse and we loved it just as much as our first time a few years ago. Our daughter is already asking when we can go back to the “teal” house. We will certainly be continuing our tradition by staying here as often as we can when we are back in the area. We love the location on Nelson 151 and its proximity to wineries & breweries. And it’s even better that it’s so close to an entrance to Shenandoah NP; especially the quieter side. You’re also only a short 10 min drive into Crozet and about 20 into Charolettesville. Location can’t be beat for the value! Scott was also a great host. Very friendly and responsive and we were even lucky to meet him briefly as well. Thank you for a great stay! We will be back!

This cabin in the mountains was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how adorably decorated everything was: cozy, charming, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The views were stunning, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. Everything was spotless, the beds were super comfy, and the peaceful mountain setting was exactly what we needed to unwind.

Great cozy spot in Lovingston! Ed was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. Despite all the rain we were able to have a lovely weekend getaway. Wineries and restaurant options close by.

Beverly is a fantastic hostess. Not only is the cabin immaculately clean and cozy, it truly feels like it’s your own space. Plenty of fun toys, games, and books to keep kids and adults entertained when spending time in the cabin, though you likely won’t! Her property offers so much outdoor activity. Walks around the property, time spent next to the river and pond, plenty of flowers to admire, and friendly dogs that come and say “hello.” We were lucky and her goats just had kids! Beverly willingly took our child to pet and hold the babies. We loved our stay. Thank you, Beverly!

Let’s begin by saying that the views alone are worth the price of admission, before you even start looking around inside. The amenities are plentiful, the beds are comfortable, 2 of the 3 showers are accessible for elderly, and it was clean and tidy. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back during off-season to enjoy this space on the mountain!!

This was by far the nicest AirBnb my boyfriend and I have stayed in thus far - the view is just unbeatable! Becky's place is the exact woodsy getaway I was searching for - lots of hiking trails nearby, cozy decor, and a true feeling of isolation that comes with being secluded up in the mountains. What I most appreciated was Becky and Aaron's attention to detail: snacks and two soft drinks upon arrival, a thorough binder of dining/things to do in the area, a take-home post card to remember the trip, and more! Our only downside was the lack of restaurants immediately nearby. Wintergreen itself lacks a wide variety of food options, and the next closest options are all the way down the mountain, about 20 minutes from the AirBnb. That being said, I would stay here again - the quaintness and serenity of the apartment is worth the mediocre resort food.

My Fiancé and I loved this for a romantic weekend getaway. A quiet and beautiful setup with plenty of outdoor activities around. A very comforting stay and definitely would book again.

Loved this little condo! It’s perfect for a weekend away. The market is a minute walk away, it was so clean and cute, and the bed was so comfy and cozy too. Would absolutely return!

We had a wonderful stay at this Wintergreen condo. Location was great and we loved we could bring our dog. The place was very clean and had all necessities we needed. It was very cozy and we felt right at home. Kim was very responsive and friendly to deal with. All the instructions were clear and easy. We would definitely recommend and would come back!

Lisa's condo was fabulous! It was decorated beautifully and in a very peaceful location. It was great not having to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs. If you need anything, she is quick to answer. It was the cleanest dog friendly Airbnb that we have ever stayed in!! We have a hypoallergenic dog so I appreciated not being covered in dog hair. This was the perfect spot for our trip. A friend of mine and I brought our teenage sons for a quick weekend snowboarding trip, and needed somewhere with three sleeping areas. The loft had 2 beds and a fully bath which was exactly what we needed for the boys. It was super convenient to everything with a shuttle stop right out front. Plenty of parking, great amenities, clean, and easy to find! Also very cozy! We’ll definitely return!

Mary’s place was exactly what we needed for our family with small children. The kids loved eating on the deck and being able to sleep in the same room but in their own bed. They had games available and everything was nice and clean. Mary was also quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

A great place for a ski weekend with friends! Had all the amenities you would need for anything. Highly recommend this place! Quick 5-10 minute walk to the slopes.
