My and I stayed 3-nights at the Mutchmor Lofts - "The Cabin" during the 2nd week of September. The premise is spotless and well-appointed. The cabin is less than a stone-throw away from a beautiful & pristine sandy beach; and because it's the shoulder season, the beach is peaceful and that's exactly what my wife and I are looking for. We were given to understand by the locals that Providence Bay has the best sandy beach for swimming in Manitoulin Island and we agree. The area has an elevated boardwalk to protect the vegetation and the sand dunes; it's well-maintained. While you are taking a leisure stroll on the boardwalk, turn left for a short distance toward a small bridge where the Mindemoya River from Lake Mindenmoya drains into the mouth of bay and, fortunate for us, because September is the salmon spawning season, we came to witness an amazing scene of salmon gathering. We enjoyed our stay at Mutchmor, and we would like to thank Matthew for being just a great host.

Great spot to stay to explore Manitoulin. The location is very central so it's quick to drive to the top spots. Fire pit and beach access at the location is a great perk. Nano is a very friendly and responsive host, helped us with some small issues during our stay.

We used Janyn’s place as a “home base” for two great days of riding on Manitoulin. And when I say “home base” that’s exactly how it felt, “Our Home Away From Home”. Perfect location, walking distance to everything needed, great restaurants, the Manitoulin Brewery, and the list goes on. Thanks for having us! We will be back!!!

Thank you Jewel for allowing us to enjoy some peace and quiet in your beautiful home. She was very welcoming, making sure we felt right at home. The location was great, perfect for exploring the area; this gorgeous place is steps away from the water, we took the paddle boat for a trip along the water front, so fun on the sunset and in the evening we had an amazing bonfire. Also she has an adorable dog Sailor Moon, so cute. Highly recommended staying here!!

We had three couples stay for two nights at Kathy’s place and had a wonderful time. The house had so many positives: it was very clean, private, had a cozy living room to relax in, a covered back porch with very comfortable seating, a well equipped kitchen and the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone their private space. Perfect for our group!

Mark was a fantastic host, very helpful with thoughtful incite and suggestions. The cabin (home) was far better than the photos portrayed, everything was clean and very well equipped. Bright living space with three skylights & beds were very comfortable. Great access to the lake with sturdy long dock to take in the beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend this cottage!

We loved our stay, as always. This house is beautiful and peaceful and comfortable, any time of year we visit. Highly recommend.

Amazing weekend ! The house is very comfortable and the location next to the lake is perfect. It's a nice place to look at the sky. The communication with Christopher was really good. Thank you :)

Mary’s place felt very comfortable and welcoming. The house is new, has lots of modern solutions (polished concrete heated floors were perfect), well insulated, and, what was very important to us, windows in all rooms can be opened. Mary assured us that the water system has “lots of fancy filtration” and tap water is drinkable. It was very tasty! Our favourite amenities: Jura coffee maker and the Eames chair. Beds were too soft for us but it’s a matter of personal preference. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and extremely quiet (in April), and there is a private access to a boggy area where frogs give a beautiful concert every night! A short walk down the road will take you to a public access to a rocky beach. We had a lovely stay and would recommend Mary’s place to anyone who likes nature and cares for the environment.

Everything was perfect, clean. We enjoyed our stay, the location was beautiful, the views were amazing. Leana was a great host, very helpful and responsive when needed. Would recommend. Would love to come back in the future.

My wife and I chose this place to celebrate her birthday in September. Right away, we were blown away by how beautiful the property and view were. After entering inside, we quickly understood why Melissa is a "super host"! We really appreciated the attention to detail and felt like they did not cheap out on anything - like many hosts have done in our experience. The guest's experience is clearly extremely important to her. We also absolutely loved the sauna!! It's like we were at a Scandinavian spa - cold plunge in the cool lake followed by nice long sauna sessions. So so refreshing. All we talked about on the drive home was how great of a trip it was and how much we would like to stay there again next year. Amazing host, unbelievable property and accommodations and an exceptional experience that made my wife's birthday extra special. Highly recommend. Thank you, Melissa!
