The apartment is around 60 square meters on the second floor. Location is very close to downtown Reykjavik, some 5-10 minutes by foot, about 2-3 minutes with Taxi. Supermarkets within 3 minutes walking distance. Seltjarnarnes or Vesturbæjarlaug swimming pool with warm natural water just a short ride away. In the home you have access to WiFi, Apple TV with access to streaming services in the living room area. Also in the bedroom you have a TV with an Apple TV for late night streaming. Access to an iPad in the living room for planning your expeditions, controlling the lights, music or more. The kitchen comes fully equipped with oven, microwave and dishwasher. If any questions arise during your stay I am just a phone-call away and able to assist you to the best of my abilities. The apartment is in a family-orientated neighborhood, with a playground across the street. Central Reykjavik is only a 5-10 minute stroll. It’s just a short drive to Seltjarnarnes and Vesturbæjarlaug swimming pool with warm natural water. Being located downtown you can walk to most relevant places in Reykjavik. If you tend on traveling further the local bus system (Strætó) will get you almost anywhere.

Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! The farm is settled in the most beautiful scenery you can imagine. Powerful mountains all around, sound of the fresh salmon-river, waterfall in the breath taking canyon. Aurora Borealis from your window, when the conditions are right. Great for getting away. Relax or be creative. Mindful hiking in the untouched nature and enjoy farm live. Middle of nowhere, and yet it is only 22 km. drive from Reykjavik center. Many points of interest are within easy reach like the Golden Circle.

The studio is in the basement on a separate and private part of a four floor building. The house is in front of a primary school which I love because it is so alive when the children go out to play. The school started at 08:30 and you might hear the bell ringing and children and parents coming to school. Free public parking across the street.
