Western Tobago: hospedarias

I had a very nice stay again at the Hummingbird. Paul is a great and very welcoming host. I stayed in the superior room, which was very clean and had everything you need in it. Lovely self-prepared breakfast.

Candles in the Wind is a great option if you're a younger solo traveler like I was. I stayed in one of the private rooms and was completely satisfied with all the amenities available to me. Andrew is an incredibly kind individual, who provided me with plenty of information, was always available, and even drove me to the airport. The location is prime - walking distance to all the local restaurants, bars, and beaches. The shared kitchen is very handy as well. Overall very pleased with my stay.

Ingrid was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was excellent value for money, well-located for the beach and it had everything we needed. We also had a very good breakfast that Ingrid made for us. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Winston’s very much. Spotless rooms, parking, friendly staff, and a fantastic bar and restaurant overlooking Buccoo Bay. What more can you ask for.

This was a lovely place to stay. It is the oldest guest house on the island apparently. Joan is such a nice person, helping her guests in any way she can. She has lots of guests who come back year after year for extended periods, which says everything really. The room was clean and spacious and there was use of a large well-equipped kitchen. Recommended.

We had a great stay at Miller’s Guest House. Winston, the host, greeted us upon arrival and gave us the tour of our room, which was clean and tidy. He also provided a hand drawn map of the area that conveniently listed local eateries, shops and the beach. Buccoo beach was a 5min walk from the location and was not as crowded as other popular beaches in the area; Pigeon Point and Store Bay Beach. For the two nights we stayed, we ate at Shirl’s Finger Lickin, which was very good, and Luvinia’s Restaurant which is attached to the guesthouse. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Miller’s Guest House.

Amazing overall experience from start to finish! I will definitely be coming back!! I felt like I was at home and always had great company around , not to mention the views and proximity were incredible!!

Very cozy place, close to supermarkets and a bakery. The location is convenient. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed just a few nights at Sea Shell & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The studio is a short walk up some stairs & much better in person than the photos online. It was very clean, had a well appointed kitchen, a lovely view & Parlatuvier beach was steps from our door. The neighbourhood was quiet & we walked around quite a bit including going to Parlatuvier's two waterfalls. Dale was very helpful & check in was smooth. We will definitely stay there again. If you are looking for a comfortable base to explore Tobago, with a balcony that feels suspended over the beach to relax in on evenings, watching the fishing boats come in - Sea Shell is the place.

My paid reservation was occupied with other guests upon arrival even though I confirmed availability with the host prior to booking. The attendant who greeted me with attitude upon check in, didn’t care to help resolve the situation until I mentioned that I was from the United States. I was offered a smaller room, upon entering the smaller room, I was greeted with dried Feces on the sheets… sigh. I was trying to be positive about this situation.. The shower was not cleaned properly. Apart from this the location is great, bed is comfortable. I’m disappointed and I checked out a day earlier.

The location is incredible - stunning view overlooking the bay, with the beach a few metres away. The accommodation is lovely - clean, with all required appliances, a balcony and there is parking. There is a nearby waterfall, fishermen sell their catch on the jetty, the forest reserve is nearby for trails in the rainforest and birdwatching is excellent. We loved Tobago and Dale’s accommodation is fantastic. Thank you Dale.
