West Coast of the United States: resorts

This was a really awesome last minute find for us. Very private but just on the edge of a very small campground with a couple of cabins. This was part of a duplex, but felt so private off of everything with your own back little view of a little treed area and a peek a boo of the sky and across the lake hillside. We were happily surprised for the back deck and bbq area. The space was fully equipped, super duper clean and the beds were comfy and pillows were amazing. There was a great bathroom , with a bath, perfect for our little guy and also laundry on the property that we so needed after jumping around to places in our two weeks travel. Very family oriented and within seconds our 20 month old found a little friend. Awesome play ground and badminton. Little cafe , ice cream and groceries in walking distance , and the main beach was only a 5 minute drive, yet tiny beaches were just a few minutes walk down the street. Great coffee too, highly recommend. The campground was super quiet...loved it.

Great condo. I wish it was a little closer to the ocean but it seems it’s the luck of the draw.

This resort shares a private beach with One Hanalei Bay and it was lovely! The resort was honestly much nicer than the photos looked and I was so pleasantly surprised! We would 10/10 stay here again - we loved it! Also the bed was so comfy!

Our stay was great!! It was perfect for a family vacation! Lots of great stuff for kids to do.

This place was absolutely perfect for my family of 4. It had everything I needed to cook meals. And plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We spent our Christmas there and brought our own little tree to add some decor. Kids had fun playing outside in the snow and come inside to get warm by the fire. It was a great price for the space and would highly recommend. And Host was amazing about keeping in touch and answering and silly questions I had. Very friendly and easy to work with.

The host, Beth, is extremely responsive and a great communicator. She added my wife to the discussion so that we would both be informed. The Casita is great with easy parking and central in the resort. We would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay at Terranea as you have all of the resort amenities that you would receive by booking through the resort directly.

This was an awesome space and location for our trip to Disneyland!

Absolutely love the location and everything about our stay, I just wish we knew to request a bigger unit.

If you’re looking for VERY close to the strip, this place is for you. You won’t need a car, at all! Clean and comfy. The sphere is right there! We look forward to returning next year!

Caroline's condo was perfect for traveling. Coffee maker, mini fridge, comfy bed and living room area and even a bathtub! fabulous! Location was close to everything, 12 minutes from shops and restaurants at Stateline. Great stay!

We had a great time staying here, check in was easy and the amenities were as described. The outdoor pool is very warm even in the middle of winter!

Great spot. The room you get may vary from my understanding, but I lucked out with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite on the second floor overlooking the greens. Plenty of free parking on site, quiet, beautiful surroundings with flowers. The units are older but felt clean and homey, with a comfy bed and great water pressure. My unit had stainless steel pans and plenty of space to spread out. Pet fee is 20-25$/night, but worth it! Very dog friendly property with lots of walking areas and pickup stations.

Wie beschrieben, nah am Flughagen gelegen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den Norden und Süden. Mietwagen wird benötigt, direkte Umgebung ist nichts. 40 $ für den Stellplatz ist zu viel, leider aber keine andere Möglichkeit zu parken.

Alecia was a great host! The marriott desert springs villas are beautiful. Our villa was on the outside of the resort and faced the golf course and the nearby road. We accessed the JW amenities through our stay. Very relaxing and a great way to end the summer!

Sean was an amazing host! Communication and tips were spot on! It’s a great place to stay, just keep in mind in the summer there isn’t an AC, so it’s can get pretty warm in the room and with the limited window you can’t really cool it off. However I can’t wait to stay again in the cooler months! Besides from the AC I would definitely recommend Sean as a host!

Love the resort, it’s SO convenient to go up to the slopes. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi, the room was clean, towels were so comfortable, stuff was well stocked and exactly as described. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Beverly for hosting us!

WE ENJOY OUR VACATION IN THIS PLACE ALSO ANTHONY IS A ONE OF THE BEST HOST

The overall experience was good. Michelle had very good communication throughout the process. Check-in was very easy when we arrived. Th unit (2 bedroom) was clean and fairly well equipped. We cooked in several dinners and I had to improvise some but the unit had all the basics I needed. The bedrooms were spacious and once weekly housekeeping service was included to change the sheets, towels, etc so that was very nice and helpful. This Westin location is very easy for families and the pools and beaches were great. There is easy snorkeling right in front of the Westin and even though it was a holiday week during New Year's it didn't feel too crowded. Parking is free and the location is very close to Lahaina town for shopping and restaurants and also Whalers Village shopping. The Westin has a shuttle that runs to both these locations and their other properties so that was also helpful. Overall, I do recommend this location and Michelle's property for a stay in Maui. Only one thing to note about the set up of the 2 bedroom is that there is a little entry and then the unit has a large studio bedroom + sofa + small kitchen + bathroom on one side with its own door/entrance and then the other side has the one bedroom + living area+ larger kitchen + larger bath. This worked great for us as we had 2 teenagers and put them in the studio but if you have young children you might not want them completely separate from you (although I guess you could prop the doors open to each unit).

Had a great stay here, was perfect for 4 girls getting ready for Coachella. Exactly as pictured and amazing communication ! Will be back

Excellent place to stay. We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed some quality time with our family. I highly recommend and would definitely go back.

We had a great time in Maui and Bart was a fantastic host! He was very helpful and really worked with us on our timing!

This was the best location for the tournament we played in. The place was spotless, the service from staff, about anything needed, was immediate and friendly. The whirlpool was a blessing to have. The morning Strech and Yoga classes were excellent and a great way to start the day! Susan was prompt, helpful and most friendly!
