The mountain cottage is a unique, remote and romantic place to disconnect, enjoy spectacular sunsets followed by an evening of star gazing. High up in the Waterberg mountains this eco cottage operates on solar power and relies on rain water harvesting, whilst battery operated lamps are provided for light. The cottage is best reached by 4x4 or high clearance vehicle; alternatively arrange for us to fetch you at the gate to take you. Join us and switch off, very limited connectivity only.

Covid 19 response, all our staff are vaccinated and the Tent is completely isolated. There is no contact with any other guests.

Matopos Cabin

Matopos is a rock & wood cabin in a wild syringa forest located on Grootfontein Private Nature Reserve. Guests can unwind in the wood-fired hot tub while enjoying mountain views or gather around the fire for a braai under the stars. This 2-bedroom unit boasts en-suite bathrooms, an open-plan kitchenette, a dining area, lounge area & braai facilities. OFF THE GRID Our units make use of solar power. PLEASE DO NOT use hairdryers / electric blankets / hair straighteners.

Klipsand Tentcamp is nestled at the foot of the majestic Waterberg mountains and the Marakele National Park in the Thabazimbi bushveld. Enjoy the cottage hot tub, the tranquility of the bush, walking trails, spectacular game drives, game viewing on horseback, kids pony rides, our heated pool, astronomy shows, and our family friendly facilities. Butterfly cottage itself is a thatched cottage in our game area.

The luxury self-catering accommodation was designed for two as a romantic escape to the tranquil bushveld. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from your own splash pool. The Redunca View is tucked away on the foot of the Waterberg mountains, out of site of anyone else. **Minimum stay of 2 nights
