Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der White House Lodge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns schnell wie zuhause gefühlt in der grosszügigen Wohnung. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die schöne grosse Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Janaka und seine Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben interessante Gespräche geführt. Unsere beiden gleich alten Söhne haben sich angefreundet, vielleicht eine Freundschaft fürs Leben? Das Internet funktioniert sehr gut, perfekt um zwischendurch zu arbeiten. Janaka hat unsere Ferien mit Tipps für Ausflüge bereichert. Sewwandi hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht, vielen Dank dafür! Preis-Leistung ist top! Wir kommen wieder.

Dilhan and his family welcomed us warmly from the start. We were well looked after and had people to contact around the clock. The apartment is clean and as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the apartment is opposite a very noisy street, but after the first few days this didn't bother us anymore and we were able to sleep well at night in the comfortable beds with earplugs. The apartment also has no hot water, but that didn't bother us at all in 30 degree heat. There is a bus stop right outside the front door from which you can get directly to Ahangama and Mirissa for little money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a powerful fan in every room. We highly recommend the accommodation and really felt very comfortable during our two weeks of stay :)

Wir waren für 4 Nächte in der Sweet Villa und haben uns direkt sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Das Personal (Security und Haushälterin) war sehr nett und freundlich. Der Hund Brownie hat es uns auch sehr angetan. Schöner großer Palmengarten mit privatem Pool, schöner Terasse, Wohnzimmer und Küche. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und würden aufjedenfall wieder kommen.

Väldigt vackert och mysigt boende. Fridfull plats då det var en lugnt miljö. Stor och ren privat pool perfekt för dagar man inte vill gå till stranden. Shehan var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam och svarade snabbt om man hade några frågor. Skulle verkligen rekommendera och jag skulle utan tvekan kunna bo här igen.

Wir hatten das Glück, bei Damith in seiner idyllischen Blockhütte zu übernachten – eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Der Ort ist perfekt zum Entspannen inmitten der Natur. Damith war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeden Morgen bereitete er uns ein köstliches Frühstück zu, und zu einem Geburtstag organisierte er ein festliches Abendessen samt liebevoller Dekoration. Ein besonderes Highlight war, dass wir in seinem Garten einen Baum pflanzen durften. Der große Garten bietet viel Platz, und Hund Romi sowie die Enten Black & White machten den Aufenthalt noch besonderer. Damith unterstützte uns beim Mieten eines Scooters und beim Geldwechsel. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es in der Nähe. Die Anreise mit dem lokalen Bus war unkompliziert, von der Busstation zur Villa Ovita sind es nur 700 Meter. Ob zum Arbeiten mit stabilem Internet oder zum Entspannen – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank lieber Damith.

We had a really pleasant stay at Villa Candlelight. The property is beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the indoor pool—it truly added an extra touch of luxury and made our experience even more enjoyable. The villa is also conveniently located, with easy access to the market area, making it simple to explore the surroundings. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Chaminda’s place! From the moment we arrived, he treated us like family—always going out of his way to help us with anything we needed. Whether it was finding the right cab, recommending great places to eat, or giving local tips, Chaminda was always there with thoughtful suggestions and a smile. The house itself is beautifully designed with a peaceful and relaxing vibe—perfect for unwinding. The atmosphere is warm, calm, and really well thought out. It was honestly one of the best stays we’ve had on Airbnb. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Must stay!

Our stay was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel like part of their family. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Several evenings, they prepared mouthwatering traditional dinners for us, each meal bursting with authentic flavors – it was a real treat for our taste buds! What really stood out was how they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always ready to assist us with anything we needed, and doing so with a smile. Their hospitality added a special touch to our experience. Even though this is my fourth time in Sri Lanka, this stay has been one of the highlights of my trips. I’ll definitely be returning, as they truly made our vacation even more memorable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience!
