This totally off-grid 1345 acre property has its own solar power system, harvests all its own water and is located on the outskirts of the Atherton Tablelands in the farming district of Dimbulah on route to Mt Mulligan and Chillagoe. Melrose House is our rustic Queenslander holiday home that gives lake glimpses & breezes. It is well equiped with 2 x kitchens & bathrooms, games room with pool table, air hockey, ping pong table, extensive verandas, fire pit, a cosy upstairs auto fireplace, kayaks, 2x bikes and plenty of parking space. It’s only a short walk to all the lake has to offer: extensive lakeside paths, parklands, playground, fishing, water-sports, boat ramp and dam wall. Discounts for 7+ nights. Pets ok -Yard only.

Idriess Cottage

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. The Cubby Luxury Nature Retre

From the modern luxurious interior, you can soak up nature at its finest. FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

Our Tropical Flower Farm is a 52-acre property situated at the foothills of Mt Bartle about one hour drive south of the Cairns International Airport. We grow an extensive variety of tropical Heliconia and Ginger for use in the Australian Cut Flower market. Our farm is completely self-sustainable. We have a waterfall that generates our power through Hydroelectricity and gravity-fed water from a natural spring.
