Mary as great! We needed a last minute place to avoid the hurricane and Mary was very communicative and helpful getting us what we needed.

We loved staying at Ryan’s place. It has everything you need. Lots of local places and fun things to do surrounding Carrabelle and St. George. Also, it’s worth a 40 minute drive north to Crawfordville if you ever need anything at Walmart or Publix also a drive-through Starbucks… This place is well worth it. There is miles of coast you can explore all within a 5 to 10 minute drive. The neighborhood is really safe and everyone is so friendly. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful, peaceful place to stay to explore the beauty of Wakulla county. A short drive from some great restaurants and all the shops you need (try Hutton's Seafood on 98 by the High School!) as well as Wakulla Springs, the St Marks National wildlife refuge and the Wakulla river. Easy to get to but well back from the road so all you can hear in the morning is bird song. Comfortable beds, great climate control a well equipped kitchen for breakfast and simple meals. Brand new washer and dryer, fast internet. Also two bathrooms with hot showers and good water pressure - everything you need for a shorter or longer stay (we were there for almost two weeks). Brian and Tanya are wonderful, warm, responsive and friendly hosts always ready to give great recommendations and tell you something surprising about the history of the county and this beautiful community. Highly recommend this as a base explore this unique and beautiful part of Florida.

Beautiful place on a slice of paradise comfy beds and furniture. Amazing views out of every window The kayaks and fishing gear is a big plus. The only recommendation for a better stay is better coffee and toilet paper 🙏 The place is well worth the money and you won’t regret staying here. The kids caught fish in the canal and we kayaked the bay

As always they are so accommodating and really go above and beyond! We keep coming back and will continue to because we feel at home here and they make even challenges easy to navigate.

We had the best weekend getaway. This place is amazing and I can’t wait to go back! It was just as described and everything was perfect. The shower is THE BEST!!! we loved the ability to bring our dog and enjoy a slow paced weekend to be together as a family. Thank you!

I stay at the pelican when I can. Sometimes both cottages are booked and I have to find other accommodations. This is always my first choice when I’m in Crawfordville.

This house was spacious and relaxing which was just what we were looking for in a vacation house. A few steps from a beach that we enjoyed exploring every morning during low tide and walking in the evening. There are little towns/islands to explore just a 30-45 minute drive away.

Beautiful home. We loved all the marine life we were able to find. The only complaints we had was there wasn’t a grill and the pool not being in the neighborhood. Overall a great week. Would definitely recommend.

We’ve now stayed at this location for FOUR family vacations. Even with some hiccups this year, we hope to return again for a fifth. I cannot say enough about the thoughtfulness of the host, the natural beauty in this remote location, or the peace that being off the beaten path brings! Super relaxing spring break! We loved the condo, loved the huge backyard. Condo had everything we needed, dishes/towels/cleaning supplies/pool toys, goggles, board games.. very welcoming feel. Went fishing most of our trip, and went to fill out the guest books d a friend showed up, after we left, we realized we never finished our journaling! We’ll fix that on the next trip. Definitely staying again!

probably the cleanest Airbnb we've been to.. but no open restaurants in area... if I have any suggestions it would be to replace sofa with something more comfortable

We booked Gone Fishing with Marlinda. She called to inform us that our room wasn't ready (no fault of hers) and asked if we would be interested in staying at her other place (Gone Fishing 2) or if we wanted to wait for it to be cleaned properly. We agreed to stay at Gone Fishing 2 because it wasn't a problem for us. The place was VERY clean and smelled amazing upon entering. This little place had literally EVERYTHING you could want or need! We cooked breakfast every morning and enjoyed the tea/coffee that was provided. There is room to park in front of the house if need be. The screened in porch was nice as well. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn't be afraid to try the Gone Fishing house. Marlinda is very responsive and handles her houses very well! 10/10 would recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay—this is a fantastic place! Every inch of the home feels fresh, with stylish and interesting finishes that give it a modern, welcoming vibe. It was super comfortable and had everything I needed, from thoughtful touches to well-stocked essentials. I especially loved relaxing on both the front and back porches, and the entryway made a great first impression. The host was responsive and everything was exactly as described. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place.

Our family visited for a long weekend for a family member’s graduation from FSU. Not being a huge fan of Tallahassee we wanted to experience the coast. Not only was the property gorgeous, there was so much to do. We went off shore fishing, spent time with the locals at Fathom’s Raw Bar, ventured over to dinner at Trident in Panacea, enjoyed the beach at St George Island and ventured over to Apalachicola for some shopping. A beautiful property with a great feeling of home. Get up early and watch the sunrise! Drink some wine on one of the two balconies. The property even had an elevator. Bring your beach towels. It was the only item we wished the property had. Coming from Wisconsin those are too bulky to pack!

We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and relaxing to sit on the balcony to watch the waves and hear the sound of the ocean. We even saw dolphins which was very exciting. My family enjoyed playing in the sand , water and even fishing.

Spent two months at Drift Away. The condo is very large/spacious, clean and centrally located in Carrabelle. Michelle was very helpful during our stay. While visiting I suggest St. Port Joe and the town of Appalachiacola. We spent time at Harry’s Bar and found the locals charming. Morning Bite for breakfast was a regular stop for us! Definitely recommend Drift Away!
