The home was exactly as listed and the location was a great mix of private and separate from towns but close enough to Canton that it was less than a 10 minute drive to anywhere we needed to go. Great place to stay!

Needed a quick place to stay by parents house for a funeral. Everything was sold out, so I was happy there was availability on Airbnb. Great communication from the owner.

We had an amazing time on our 5th wedding anniversary (traditional theme is wood), surrounded by the woods. It’s a very special place, nestled in the piney woods. There was almost as many things to look at in the cabin, with all the art, as there was outside. Very secluded, quiet and peaceful. We’ll have to bring our kiddo next time for the awesome loft!

The house was great! Comfy beds, clean, everything we needed after ling days with horses. Would stay here again.

This is our 5th time staying here and it is always wonderful. We has such a great girls weekend cooking in the kitchen and sitting on the patio. Even though this time we watched more TV because it rained the whole weekend. It was still relaxing. Looked forward to next year. Thank you Joel.

If you are looking for a great home set in a peaceful location, look no farther. Liz's home was exactly as described. Beautiful wooded lot with lots of room and a great screen ed in porch off the primary bedroom on the 2nd floor. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

This was the perfect place for our large family! With two teenagers, fur babies, and my mom with us, the two separate houses made for the perfect stay. Aubrey was EXTREMELY helpful and if anything came up, she was responsive and handled everything quickly. This was an extremely stressful transition for our family but this air b&b made for the most peaceful stay while we combatted the stresses of moving across the country. Neighbors (though few and far between) are super kind and give that “welcome to the area” vibe! This is an old historical home that has cozy comfort needed for the escape we all want! Huge thanks to Aubrey for being so responsive and flexible! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My family and I had a great stay. Our kids loved the farm animals and the pool. The home was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was stocked with essential. I loved how they have kids cups and plates. We would definitely stay there again if we are ever back in the area.

We loved Lori’s guest house. It was comfortable and warm and private. This was for our 10th anniversary and it was a perfect retreat. Lori was very helpful and communicative. We’d definitely come back again!!

The house is absolutely beautiful! Nicole was a great host & extremely responsive. We requested to check in early to set up for our daughters party & she was happy to accommodate!

Our family enjoyed our stay and especially the peacefulness of the surroundings. The property was very accommodating for our family size. I can't say enough about the comfort of the beds and good quality bedding. There were enough pots and pans too cook with, that we could've cooked for the entire town! I reached to the property managers/ owners to tell them a few things and instead of messaging me, I received an actual conference call. How great is that!! We also left a few things and they were more than happy to mail them to me. I recommend the property and can promise you'll enjoy yourself.

What a beautiful Air bnb! We stayed one night during a cross country road strip and wished we had time for a second night. The pool and hot tub area was beautiful and there were so many toys and activities for kids. Inside the house was just wonderful…we felt so at home and there were so many lovely touches. We have stayed in a lot of air bnbs and this one really was one of the best. It had every kitchen utensil or kitchen equipment you could dream of, with drawers and cupboards clearly labeled making it easy to find things in new surroundings. Very comfortable beds and sofas. The surrounding area was pretty farmland and not too far from the highway and maybe 40mins outside of Dallas so perfect for us. I’m not sure if there was much around in terms of restaurants but with such a beautiful house we really didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect place to recharge our weary travelling souls and get back on the road…highly highly recommend!

We loved staying here. The resort and their workers are awesome! The cottage was super cute and nice. The amnesties are the best. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

We had a great time at Whistling Duck Cabin. Peaceful with beautiful views! Exactly the kind of break we needed and enjoyed everyday fishing. Conveniently located for first Monday in Canton. Would definitely recommend!

A Perfect Countryside Getaway – Just Minutes from Canton Market Days! We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this charming country house. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the peaceful surroundings and the breathtaking views of open fields. The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every comfort we could possibly need—from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy beds that made it hard to leave! One of the highlights was its ideal location—peaceful and secluded, yet just a short drive to Canton Market Days, which was a fantastic bonus. We loved being able to enjoy the excitement of the market and then retreat to the serenity of the countryside.

We absolutely loved this location and our host was the best. We will be booking with them again, very soon!!

Bev and Tim are wonderful hosts. The property (The Mountain) is very unique and quaint. The hosts were always available to accommodate any of our needs from check in to check out. The moto, "come as guests and leave as friends" is true. We feel that we now have friends in Canton Texas. We will absolutely stay with them when we visit for First Monday Days the next time.
