Cynthia( host) was very responsive and attentive. She make sure that we have everything we need. Place was very clean and peaceful. This place is amazing for spending time with your family.The views were so pretty and peaceful including the river and the mountains.

We had a great time here with our family. Everyone was impressed with the resort. Cynthia is the best!

Love this place! The sunsets and views are amazing!! We had lots to do and explore. Definitely rent the kayaks or bring your own, so you can go up the river and find shallow spots to stand if you don't like the deeper areas. You can also go to the other side of the Dam (outside of the resort). There is a small store before crossing the bridge (The Dam store), that has fishing poles/worms, life jackets, shoes, and snacks/etc... Cynthia is amazing and her staff went above and beyond checking on you. The house was clean and stocked with everything you need to cook/grill. Will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Popie’s Place. The house was very clean. The beds were comfortable and overall the stay was enjoyable.

I went back and forth on the overall rating and stuck with a 5 rating since I didn't speak up about my dissatisfaction and allow them the opportunity to make it right. This is a beautiful property that really had the potential to be an incredible stay. The lodge is stunning with a rich history. Clean and spacious. When we arrived, we were disappointed to find out the pool and pond were under construction & unusable. We picked this property for those amenities and ended up only able to use the hot tub. I understand the need to provide safety, but had we been informed prior to our trip, we would have looked for something closer to our family that we were visiting. No credit offered We also had a hiccup with day guest passes. After some back and forth, they were approved, but ended up not being needed since the pool/pond were unavailable during our stay The lodge accommodated the 3 couples and 5 kids perfectly and we really would love to give this property another chance in the future.

Great place to stay. A walk away from the river, and has all the supplies to get on the water. We will definitely be going back.

This place is great for a getaway and many things to do. Ashley is a great host! She had very good communication, the cabin was very clean! Me and my girlfriend had a great time out there! I would one hundred percent recommend this place and will be returning soon!

Greatly enjoyed our stay at the lodge for a 60th birthday. The lodge was extremely clean, well furnished, and exactly as described. We loved sitting around the fire pit, meals and hang out time in the central room, and relaxing on the porch.

The privacy, lack of large crowds and cleanliness of the cabins are 100% worth coming back over and over. We’ve been three times now and are never disappointed.
