Laze for days in front of the massive fireplace, or venture out and explore one of the 3 gorges. Start your holiday here on route to the coast or meet friends mid-way from JHB & Durban for a getaway or celebration, or a wedding at the little church just up the road. The best kept secret 2km off the N3 on the Van Reenen's Pass. We also have 2 cottages.

Nestled in the town of Winterton just below the Central Drakensberg is this lovely solar powered self catering flat. King size bed, single bed, kitchen, Wi-Fi, Netflix and undercover parking. Rose Garden Manor House B+B Sitting in the shade of a 150 year old Elm tree with a view of Platberg Mountain and sleeping in one of Harrismith’s historical landmarks is a treat. Harrismith is the gem of the Free State, the gateway to the Drakensberg. The Rose Garden manor house was built in 1895 and is owned and run by David and Gill Weaver who have maintained the tradition of a classic B+B so you get to experience life with a South African family.

Lake Lintrose is s self catering cottage that sleeps eight guests. Cottage one has 3 queen size beds, one room en suite and a room with 2 single beds. There is another shower and toilet with a further single toilet and hand basin. The lounge and kitchen area is open plan with a fireplace. There is also an outdoor verandah with seating and a fireplace to braai. The cottages overlook the beautiful Springrove dam and the magnificent Drakensberg mountains.

La Loggia is a beautiful home on Eaglecrest Wildlife Estate, in Mount West, 2kms from the N3, and 10mins from Nottingham Road. This is the perfect destination for people attending weddings in the Midlands, or just wanting a peaceful getaway. There are 3 separate en suite rooms available. Suites can be booked individually or together. We are 2km from both Providence and Brahman Hills and 1km from The Gallery.

Situated in a safe, crime-free area, with tar roads all the way, is the Zulu Hut. It has traditional Zulu decor. Lying in bed you have an amazing view of the beautiful Drakensberg mountains.
