Absolutely great hostel! Super clean, not too big, not too small, breakfast and towel available for a fee. And in the middle in the beautiful little town of Izola. You can walk anywhere you want or drive around the environment. I had a lovely stay, mainly due to the friendliness of Uroš, who owns the place and is fully at your service. Highly recommended.

Someone was waiting for us, and check-in was super quick. They provided all the necessary information for our stay. Without a doubt, we’ll be back because it was a fabulous stay. See you soon!!!

Nice host, peacefully surrounding, great nature

Ema’s place is beautifully located in peaceful nature surroundings. There is a lot of space for the kids to play and they loved the many animals. Our kids could use the bicycles and cars of Ema’s kids and they even put up a little floated pool to cool down. Ema is very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed a local and fresh breakfast every day. Loved it here!

The location is perfect—calm, within walkable distance from the lake and from the bigger towns nearby. The apartment is reasonable for the price, the bed is huge, everything is tidy, we liked the balcony even while it rained outside. Although this apartment comes with no kitchen, Monica gave all the utensils we needed, so we managed without eating out always. Overall, the location, the responsive and helpful host, and the clean, compact space make it a great choice for shorter stays.

We booked this room basicly to have somewhere to sleep our first night in Slovenia, but Boruts place was suprisingly good! We stayed for a very short period of time but wish we had stayed longer to explore the area. Borut was flexible with the breakfast as was normally served from 08:00, which we appreciated a lot (We got served 07:30). And the breakfast was good! (Price 10 €/person)

I loved staying here! The rooms are cosy and clean, kitchen is huge and full of everything you need. There is parking, and good wifi. The area is beautiful and so fresh, and a small village is a 30 minute walk away with a good shop, cafes and petrol. Reception has friendly people there to help with anything. I didn’t want to leave.

Endroit hors du temps. Calme et paisible. Très beau, au coeur de la forêt. Chambre agréable, propre, linge de lit et serviettes. Cuisine et frigo partagés. Lave-linge. Restaurant et bar sur place. Très bons plats, nous avons goûté la salade et les pâtes qui étaient excellents. Hôtes très charmants, la jeune fille parlait très bien anglais.

Great location to visit main attractions of Slovenia. Samo’s place is exactly as presented, clean, well equipped and cozy. Big terrace is also an advantage to rest after busy day 😀. Highly recommended!

I spent a few days at the AVA house with a group of friends. It has a great location for exploring the beautiful nature in the north of Slovenia and for short trips to Italy and Austria. The house is beautifully furnished, well equipped and offers plenty of space. The sauna is also perfect for relaxing after a long day. We would come back at any time.

Da wir so spontan gebucht hatten und der Preis so gering war, haben wir echt nicht vermutet, dass wir eines der Zimmer mit bestem Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer bekommen. Ebenso erstaunt waren wir, dass in dem Preis auch das Frühstück inbegriffen war. Da gab es eine leckere Auswahl! Wir konnten sehr flexibel ein- und auschecken. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft! ☀️

A real gem on the Slovenian coast. We were warmly welcomed by Sonja. After an extensive tour, she took the time to inform us about sights and activities in the area. Later, recommendations followed via sms. The house itself is also really great. A kitchen with everything on it, a lovely lounge sofa, luxurious bathroom and even a washing machine. We especially enjoyed the lovely terrace. With the sliding door open, it is wonderful to have breakfast in the sun with a view of Triest. There is so much to see and do in the area, walking, cycling, drinking coffee in Triest, .... too much for the days we had. We will definitely come back here again.

Wonderful place to stay! The apartment was clean and cozy and the location was great! Belinda was a very kind host and I look forward to returning sometime in the future.
