We had a great stay here. Lavender Cottage was very tidy and clean and we instantly felt at home. Lots to see and do in this area. Jim gave us a great tip to park our car at a car park near Portballintrae and go by foot to the Giant's Causeway. Wonderful!

Beautiful location, spectacular view. Enjoyed a walk down to Kinbane Head in the evening. Property is a working farm, very tidy, but you can smell the farm. Good stay!

Perfektní ubytování. Hostitelka poslala přesné a jasné pokyny, vše jsme perfektně našli. Ubytování bylo čisté, soukromé. Vhodné pro 4 osoby a 2 děti. Kuchyň plně vybavena, koupelna velká a čistá. Prostředí super. Přivítalo nás sladké občerstvení. To bylo moc milé. Děkujeme a rádi se vrátíme.

Stayed here for a night and absolutely loved it! Isabella was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed upon arrival. The place had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Isabella gave us fresh eggs, which were absolutely lovely! Adorable lambs greeted us, adding a peaceful charm to the whole experience. It’s a lively, warm, and inviting spot—we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

Was a fabulous place to stay! Peaceful, comfortable with lots of things to see and do. Beautiful hiking, Bushmills Distillery is right in town. Close enough to Belfast to go in for a day.

This property is in a lovely location and is big and spacious. Communication and check in were quick and easy. The place isn't spotless but generally pretty clean.

We really enjoyed our stay in Portsalon. Alice was extremely friendly and communicated well with us. The house is has everything you’ll need and only a 5 minute drive to the beach. Thanks Alice!

My group really enjoyed the stay and definitely want to come back (Actually O have booked for next holiday already) The only thing is with the address given, Google map doesn't take us to the right location

Michael and his wife were extremely welcoming and very informative about the local area. They left a very generous welcome package which was very much appreciated after a long day. We only stayed for 2 nights, but the place was absolutely spotless, was warm, homely and worth every penny. We plan on returning and look forward to it - if you're considering booking then you definitely won't regret it!

We really enjoyed our stay at Caitríona’s cottage! Caitríona was really welcoming and helpful giving us lots of recommendations of restaurants and places to visit nearby. The cottage was very cosy and beautifully kept, it was so easy to feel at home! The location was beautiful with the sound of the river adding to the feeling of relaxation. We would definitely visit again!

I booked this place for my Girlfriend and two of her friends as a suprise getaway. They absolutely loved it. They said the place was immaculate, the views were amazing and it was the perfect place to getaway and relax. the hot tub was a great addition and Elaine was an excellent host. Will deffo book again.

So relaxing just the sounds of the bugs and neighbouring farm animals sat in the hot tub all night highly recommend and beds so comfy they weren't like no other 10 out of 10 would recommend if you like to stay away from people but not too far very close to the forest walk

This cabin had everything we needed from start to finish. The photos do not do the place justice! Lovely BBQ and seating area beside the Alpacas and sheep, amazing views from the cabin porch. Inside has loads of space and very cosy, loads of snacks and breakfast food. Shower was lovely and warm, the place was spotless. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, we will be back!

It was a very peaceful experience for us, this beautiful view cottage. The place was very quiet and it was very peaceful to listen to the birds' songs. Especially with Heather's dog Maple, our holiday became even more joyful and it was an unforgettable place for my dog. We are absolutely sure that we will return again. 🌸

Place was clean and tidy and we slept well in a very comfortable bed! Great location for us to be up early to catch the ferry to Rathlin Island. Appreciated the snacks being left for us!

Jim is a lovely gentle man and an attentive host. It’s a converted cosy barn at the back of his property but with private gated off area for guests and off-road parking. Was lovely to meet some of his cars roaming the garden and even provided delicious fresh eggs from his enormous chickens. The kitchen has everything you need and you could spend hours perusing his various collections. He also graciously accepted our 3 dogs which is a big plus for us. Thanks Jim we would have stayed longer if time permitted.

Can’t speak highly enough of this beautiful and spacious property. Lots of thoughtful and generous touches, great facilities and lots for the kids to enjoy as well. We’d been there less than an hour before discussing who to invite on the next holiday so we could go back. Lovely place and would be delighted to return

Wow!! This place was incredible. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Alison was super responsive and flexible, very kind and gave us some greta’s recommendations. The schoolhouse itself was so beautiful, clean, fully equipped for your every need, and cozy with a stunning view on Alison’s flock of sheep. Overall perfect stay thank you so much for everything!! 11/10

Gerald’s house is exceptional, it exceeded our expectations. Perfect for a family time away. Spacious rooms, an amazing kitchen equipped with everything needed for a break away and views to die for. Also, every room was immaculate! Gerald is an extremely attentive host, the welcome basket was a lovely and much appreciated surprise! Also letting us check in early and check out a bit later was great! Thank you so much Gerald, we absolutely loved our stay and we hope we can come back in the future.

Wonderful and relaxing place, Heather was a great host, gave me clear instructions about how to check in, the place was nice and tidy, the location is was great very peaceful. We however had a small issue but it was sorted by communicating with Heather, all questions we had Heather answered them. Overall great place to relax and enjoy nature and be city free.

Beautifully done up apartment. We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding near by. It was very near the venue and easy to book a taxi. Bed and sofa are comfortable and theres a good range of equiptment in kitchen for anything basic. Host was very kind and responsive. The property has some very affectionate cats. Only thing that I would note is thers no window in the bedroom, which is tough if the weather is warm.

Very cosy cottage in a beautiful, quiet location. The cottage had everything we needed. Nice views out to the sea from the big windows. To the back of the house, views out to the farm with sheep, lambs and rabbits running around. We drove all over Islay during our stay so, although the cottage is fairly remote, it doesn’t take long to access other parts of the island. Plenty of wildlife to spot, we saw eagles on more than one occasion, but unfortunately no otters. Particularly enjoyed the trip up to the American memorial, distillery tours, trip to Jura for the day (warning - you have to reverse on to the small ferry!), Finlaggan and the Oyster Shed. There are a lot of single track roads to negotiate and some of the surfaces are quite rough but we found it to be part of the adventure. Enjoy the peace and quiet. We had a great time.
