This newly built cabin will take your breath away. You’ll find the perfect blend of Northwoods rustic charm and creature comforts in this 3 bdrm cabin nestled in the woods overlooking Lake Superior’s Bark Bay. You’ll fall in love with all the care & attention its owners have put into every detail. From the stunning cedar beams that provide the backdrop to the incredible lake views to the hand-crafted interior woodwork and the beautiful kitchen, you will see how unique and special this cabin is.

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Great for a couple's getaway or family excursion, perfectly located on the North Shore with a spectacular view of Lake Superior. It is perfectly located 20 minutes from Duluth and 5 minutes from Two Harbors, 5 from a boat launch. Our cabin is certified as Net Zero Ready through the DOE and was designed and built by Timberlyne.

Where to go for that peaceful retreat? Look no further than our humble gîte! Sip coffee on the porch, feel the breeze and hear the wind among the trees. Adventures by day: hike, fish or day trip to Grand Marais! The bike trail puts much in reach, jog to Gooseberry, bike to Split Rock, or stroll to Thompson Beach. In the evening the full kitchen is a dream for a foodie, or head fifteen minutes to a brewery. Before bed put up your feet, play a game, read a book, or doze by the fireplace’s heat.

Firefly (Private Rustic Log Cabin-View L Superior)

Firefly is a beautiful timber frame cabin on 2 acres of land w/ parking and a sauna! Surrounding windows offer views of pines & a small glimmer of Lake Superior. Perfect for solo adventures & couples willing to pack-in/pack-out. You are the CLEANER (you must vacuum, wipe, remove ALL food/garbage/rocks/crumbs and leave tidy!). Read on the sunny deck, skip rocks on the lake, build a fire on the rocks or in the fireplace, watch a summer lightning storm, explore Split Rock and Gooseberry Falls State Parks, bike, ski, snowshoe, enjoy local breweries, tasty smoked fish, and our own wild raspberries.

Romantic Forest Cabin, Sauna, Trail to Beach

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

Custom made solid pine platform bed with new top quality mattress for your comfort. Kitchen fully stocked with pots pans dishes silverware and utensils. Coffee pot with filters. Microwave and gas range including oven. Cooking oil salt and pepper stocked on shelf. Gas grill on deck. Bonfire ring with seating in side yard. Firewood on-site.

Enjoy walks to the beach, breathtaking sunsets and beach bonfires, kayaking the famous seacaves, biking, hiking to waterfalls, shopping for vintage treasures or just relaxing/stargazing in the beautiful private backyard. A perfect home base for exploring the Apostle islands, Bayfield and Madeline Island.

Off Grid cabin, Cozy, warm up by the fire.

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.
