A perfect retreat away from any passing traffic noise. Bungalow and room were directly on the beach with a lovely view of the beach from our room. Food was excellent and staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed our stay at the Beach house. It was only a minute walk to the beach and it's a nice, safe, secluded location. Saravana went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He's great company and we truly enjoyed talking to him. He's a talentd chef. We all loved all the meals plus the BBQ he prepped for us. Definitely a highlight of our stay. We'll definitely visit again and highly recommend to everyone.

All expectations were exceeded during my stay at Moon Isle! Umesh and Mandy are great hosts—while all the staff are friendly as well. Trincomalee and Nilaveli beach truly feel like a piece of heaven. The food they prepare is delightful. My room was cleaned frequently and anything I needed was granted immediately. Any excursions, no matter the location, can be set up via Tuk tuk or taxi, and the prices are more than reasonable. Even to and from the airport! I look forward to returning here as regularly as life allows me!! Highly recommended to anyone wanting to visit Sri Lanka. Satisfaction is guaranteed!

Would give 6 stars if I could. Absolutely stunning property right on the beach. My room, bathroom & beach were all immaculate & exactly as described. Very thoughtful host with a welcome basket of goodies, adaptor plugs, bath mat by bed for sand, filtered water & ice etc. Great air conditioning & hot shower. Fantastic food & staff in the restaurant - they even made me gluten free Sri Lankan food which was such a treat to be able to eat the local food as a coeliac - thank you Umesh. Mandy is an absolutely gorgeous host - I really enjoyed my evenings on the beach chatting over a glass of wine. I couldn’t recommend this little oasis more.

Und hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Man wohnt direkt am Strand, alles ist sehr sauber und das Zimmer ist angenehm klimatisiert. Amanda und der Rest der Crew sind sehr sehr lieb und total hilfsbereit, wir haben über sie einen Ausflug zum schnorcheln gebucht nach pigeon Island (Schildkröten, Haie, Oktopuss und viele bunte Fische). Auch das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen! Wir würden die Unterkunft auch jeden Fall empfehlen ☺️.

Un hôtel très agréable : un accueil chaleureux, des chambres spacieuses et confortables, une literie au top, une propreté irréprochable et un excellent petit-déjeuner. Tout est parfait !

Klein resort op rustige plek aan het strand. Heerlijk dat er een zwembad is en genoeg stoelen en ligstoelen. Ook in zee kun je heerlijk zwemmen. Er is een restaurant met keus voor een nette prijs. Wil je ergens heen dan moet je een tuktuk nemen. Enige minpuntje zijn de matrassen. We hebben op zich goed geslapen, maar de matrassen hadden een duidelijke kuil.

Unser Aufenthalt in Amanta Beach war von der ersten Sekunde an hervorragend. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und bekamen einen leckeren Willkommensdrink. Unser Zimmer war sauber und entsprach den Fotos. Wir haben auch ein Moskitonetz erhalten und konnten seelenruhig schlafen. Der private Außenbereich mit einer zusätzlicher Dusche war auch super! Die Anlage an sich war wunderschön und es gibt sogar einen Ayurveda Garten, aus welchem zB essbare Garnitur genutzt wurde. Wir hatten den Strand fast für uns alleine, zwei sehr zutrauliche Hunde haben uns Gesellschaft geleistet. Das Personal war herausragend und super freundlich! Jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt! Es wurde sogar eine Tour durch Trinco zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und zu unserer nächsten Unterkunft arrangiert. Das Frühstück war ausgiebig in mehreren Gängen, sehr frisch und äußerst lecker! Am ersten Abend haben wir uns für das tolle und fancy vier Gänge Dinner entschieden! Wir können diesen Ort von Herzen weiter empfehlen!

We had a great family time in this amazing place. very remote but fully furnished, within walking distance from a beautiful beach. the restaurant also makes it very convenient when needed

Beautifully designed hotel and the separate room with plunge pool provided a little more privacy, albeit there is a replica cottage directly next door. I share the point made by another guest regarding the need for a paint touch up by now but that aside, this is by far the more interesting choice of hotel in the area, assuming that you are happy to be quite remote (ie no other restaurants, bars etc within walking distance). I was diving with the wonderful Diving Guru at Nilaveli so was happily occupied all days. Very best of all were the staff here- warm, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Exceptional.

Sehr schönes sauberes Appartement in toller Lage zum Strand. Durch die Verwaltung durch eine Rezeption hatte man immer einen Ansprechpartner, Kay reagierte schnell auf unsere Nachrichten. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die wenig vorhandenen Liegen am Pool. Das Appartement hatte eine super Aussicht auf das Meer.

Had a lovely stay in Trincomalee in this beautiful condo right on the beach within walkable distance to some restaurants via the beach. If you turn right and walk approximately 10 minutes you can reach salty dogs lovely little restaurant and if you turn left along beach your near pigeon island, highly recommended. Didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on that. Host is very responsive would definitely return

Loved the place here. Everything was so organised and felt like we were staying in a 5 star property. The beach view was amazing! We made full use of our 2 day stay here by going to the beach and the pool. I had only 1 issue which is the lock in the common bathroom was not working. This was fixed in 1 day but , so that would be the only issue I faced. Outside of that I will highly recommend this place!

I have wanted to stay at this property for years, and I'm so glad we finally got the opportunity to visit! A beautiful, thoughtfully decorated home where your backyard is literally one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. A great place to stay with kids. Location is central with lots of amenities close by (if you can drag yourself out of the ocean). We were treated to a delicious breakfast every morning in the courtyard. The house manager Kasthuri was fabulous and helpful. Kian & Janah are clearly experienced Air BnB hosts, and communication was great. Would stay again!

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage direkt an einem menschenleeren Traumstrand. Man kann den Fischern bei der Arbeit zusehen und auf der erhöhten Terrasse unter Sonnenschutz entspannt aufs Meer blicken, was ein Highlight war. Das Team um Kasthuri war herzlich, hat täglich gereinigt und war bei Fragen sofort zur Stelle (Danke nochmal an dieser Stelle!). Auch Kian und Janah waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben sehr schnell reagiert. Zusätzlich gab es ausreichend Informationen zu Aktivitäten wie Whale Watching etc. Besonders angenehm: kostenloses, kaltes Wasser und Frühstück. Ein weiteres Highlight waren die süßen Streifenhörnchen, die uns mit ihrer stillen Präsenz den Aufenthalt versüßt haben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können den Ort absolut empfehlen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das frühstück war sehr lecker. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber mit dem Scooter ist man schnell bei Restaurants, Supermärkten. Kommunikation lief über Messenger und war perfekt!

one of our family's best stays so far in any place. smt Malini was extremely proactive in communicating. the property is pristine and we felt exactly at home. smt Malini took the extra steps of calling us upfront (she doesn't have to) and also offered us useful recommendations on local pure vegetarian food. this place is excellent for families wanting to experience trincomalee. Thirukoneswaram temple is main reason why we visited trincomalee. the temple is close by. thanks much to the host and we will recommend this place to our friends.
