In my calendar the address came over correct. What the Airbnb email sent was a different incorrect address a full block down the street. Unfortunately I gave the wrong address (provided by AIRBNB) to the group showing up first. They had to hunt for the property based on a picture. Host seems to be unaware of conflicting addresses after bringing it to their attention

We had a great time hiking nearby trails and seeing waterfalls.

This place was everything we expected and more!!!! The view, the river, the peace and quiet cannot be overstated. This place is truly an escape from the city. Our family met up here from all over. Print out and study your maps! We got lost but ended up getting help from a kind neighbor and had quite an adventure.

Awesome stay, great views

The name says it all- it is a crooked house! It was nice that it felt like someone’s real home rather than your typical cheaply and hastily done air bnb. It’s not the fanciest place in the world, but was very comfortable for our stay. We could walk to lots of things to do in Davis and our dog enjoyed the small fenced in area. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place to stay to go snowboarding with many rooms for a family! Not far from food and the slopes! Also Grace was very responsive throughout the entire trip!

Our group of 5 had a great stay at Johnny's. The house was very clean and neat and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There is lots to do in the area and good restaurants close by. We would love to stay again some day!

Friends and family members rented several cabins at Black Bear for a wonderful weekend! Joan’s description warns that AWD is needed at this time of year—and it is. 🤪. Maintenance at Black Bear was extremely responsive when one of our group had difficulty getting out of the resort due to snow/ice. Nice to have the covered back porch to take off snowy wet clothes/boots.

This was our seventh time staying at the black bear resort, and our first at Kimberly’s cabin. This is the first cabin we have stayed in that has two full bathrooms which is so nice with multiple people staying there. It is obvious, as soon as you walk in the door how much thought and effort Kimberly and jay have put into making this cabin a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience for their guests. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable, and we loved the coffee/hot cocoa bar! They provided great information about things to do in the area, including a list of restaurants. It is beautifully decorated with all the amenities needed for our long weekend. Would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming again!

My wife and I needed a trip away from the city for the long holiday weekend where we could enjoy some good activity in peaceful surroundings with our dog. This cozy pedestal cabin in Black Bear Resort was just what we were looking for. Check in was easy by picking up the keys at the resort lodge. The place had everything we needed to a cook a couple nights for ourselves, including the gas grill on the deck. The wall-mounted 4K flatscreen TV with Roku let us relax after three active days out and about in Canaan Valley while we listened to the thunderstorms roll over the mountains each evening. This would certainly be a fine place for folks (especially with kids -- there were two sets of bunk beds in the loft) to use a base for their WV adventures any time of year!

Great place super close to Timberline, Canaan Valley and Whitegrass. Home is clean and comfortable, with a well appointed kitchen and lots of games and entertainment for bad weather.

Very comfortable stay in any weather! Got to see the stars and the Milky Way with the naked eye at night right from the deck! Directions made it super easy to find as well.

Beautiful views of the mountains from the condo and the hot tub. Well-designed living space.

We really enjoyed staying at this Air BnB, especially since we were permitted to have a dog there. We enjoyed how close it is to Canaan Valley Ski Resort, Blackwater Falls State Park and Davis, WV. The beds were comfortable and accommodations were as expected.

We had a wonderful stay. The power went out on the mountain one evening and Emily was available to answer any questions and keep me apprised of the situation. She was a generous and considerate host.

The cabin was rustic and cozy , exactly what we expected. The property is beautiful and we spent a lot of time walking the grounds down to the river . We had a peaceful experience and would re book. Tashina and her husband checked in while on site to see if we had any needs . We enjoyed everything about this experience.

Jessica always responded promptly to any messages. The quarters were cozy, the pillows soft, and overall very peaceful. It was neat and clean on arrival. It was as it should have been. I would stay there again. Actually, I should say, I WILL stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at Kimberly’s place. We cooked all of meals and the kitchen had everything we needed…probably the best stocked kitchen we seen. Hot tub was awesome and we stayed in the “off” season so the neighborhood was super quiet, which we loved! Would definitely recommend!

This was the perfect peaceful getaway! The cabin itself was beautiful and the hiking trails around the property were everything we hoped for. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a calm, quiet place to recharge and enjoy nature!

Very cozy. Just what I needed before running the half marathon at Canaan!

Great cabin to relax and unwind. There was plenty of pots, pans and other supplies stocked. There was plenty of toys for our daughter who loved the trucks and doll house. Located near dolly sods with great hiking and not far from Davis, Thomas, and black water falls. The porch swing was a great addition to the beautiful and larger deck.
