Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

We offer wifi , breakfast items, coffee, tea , condiments for cooking and your own bbq.

Authentic Finnish Log Cabin on Lakefront property at White Lake. Space for an RV is available. This small log cabin is perfect if you want a simple comfortable place to relax close to the lake. Not a glossy hotel, more upscale rustic. Relax around a campfire, enjoy beautiful sunsets from the dock a short walk from the cabin, rent the wood heated sauna, go for a hike or go fishing. We are on the quiet side of the lake and this is the only rental on the property. We live here year-round.

A love of nature and the outdoors required. Surround yourself with nature in this unique cabin nestled on a bench in the forest on the face of Mt Chase. The cabin is off the grid with solar lighting, gravity fed water for washing and drinking and a brand new new outhouse for the potty room. A small kitchen with a 3 burner stove, sink, cooler and pantry makes cooking fun. Camping experience helpful. Several outdoor destinations within 1/2 hr drive from the cabin

Forget your worries in this spacious, newly renovated, eco friendly, private suite. Fully stocked kitchen with cooking staples, espresso/coffee bar, media room/office with space for yoga. Large patio doors in primary suite provide a picturesque view of the forest and creek. Every attention to detail has been thoughtfully prepared from silky smooth bed linens, cotton robes for the hot tub, organic coffee and a few yummy treats specially prepared for your arrival.

Located only 10 minutes off the Trans-Canada Highway and 20 minutes from Crowfoot mountain. Our semi waterfront loft has many characteristics and charm and is in a prime location on Shuswap lake. Near many parks, waterfalls and one of the most beautiful lakes to explore! Truly home away from home! Rudy's Rustic Cabin

Artfully crafted cabin beside a small pond in the forest. Wake up to soft forest light and singing birds. The enclosed porch features huge windows that can be fully opened for an outside feel. The property is lakefront and guests have access to a small non motor lake where they can paddle, float and swim. The property is 20 minutes from Sun Peaks, surrounded by hiking trails, lakes, golf courses and lots of outdoor activities.

Whether it’s your home on the way or a longer stay, you will enjoy your time here. Our little cabin has been recently fully renovated and is very clean. It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.

Come explore the area and unwind each evening at our farm 18kms East of Salmon Arm. Benefit from the natural therapy of being in the presence of the Alpacas, and allow the sound of the hens clucking to replace the regular noise of life’s chaos. In the suite, whip up dinner in the mini kitchen, connect to the wifi to throw on your current Netflix binge, & do some wildlife watching right from the bedroom window.
