Neale cottage

Opportunity to stay in a unique piece of Irish Heritage in a breathtaking picture-perfect period cottage, dating back almost 200 years, has been restored into a modern home, oozing with elegance and charm. Set in Mayo’s lake country of Lough Corrib & Lough Mask, The Thatch is a 5 minute drive from renowned tourist destination of Cong -home to renowned Ashford Castle, The Quiet Man, & world famous Falconry. A short commute of 30 minutes to Galway City and Westport, makes it a dream destination.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Joyce's Cottage, one of two adjoining traditional cottages (the other being Derrypark Cottage) lies below the imposing Partry mountains on the shore of Lough Mask. This is the very best of Connemara. Solitude, peace and breathtaking scenery. Visitors can swim from their private beach, go for a cycle (bikes available) or simply sit outside and take in the spectacular scenery. A short drive (45 mins) over the mountains brings you to numerous secluded beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way.
