What an absolute "gem" in the woods. We couldn't have asked for a better host. Jennifer was very receptive and periodically checked "to make sure" everything was okay. The house was in a secluded and quiet wooded neighborhood. There is something to be said about enjoying a hot cup of coffee sitting and the porch and taking in the sights and sounds of autumn and the smell of the fallen leaves. The dogs had a great time exploring the fenced in yard. I have a passion for cooking and found the kitchen supplied with an abundant supply of cooking utensils and pots and pans with a large kitchen table to sit down and enjoy those dishes. Quiet time in the evenings were spent watching movies in the family rooms. The house is centrally located and never more than an hour away from our daily adventures in various areas in the state. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would gladly stay here again.

We had a wonderful March break week at Mark and Betty's. It's like living in an art gallery! The view was beautiful and a very peaceful and private location. My daughter loved the rooms and toys downstairs and we really appreciated the modern kitchen and fantastic fireplace.

Perfect family winter get away! Make sure you do the polar dip. Lots for the kids and adults to do. They loved the tubing. Great memories 💞

We had a great stay at Vivian's place! The chalet was very clean, exactly as described, and fit our group of 13 comfortably. We especially liked the big dining table that was great for meals and games together, and that the kitchen/living room area was on a separate floor from all the bedrooms as this made it easy to accommodate different schedules within the group. One thing to note is that the kitchen didn't have some cooking items like tin foil, cooking oil, and a baking sheet, so be sure to bring those if you'll need them. There was coffee however which we really appreciated! Vivian was very responsive to all messages and sent clear instructions for the space. Definitely recommend for a big group trip, would book again!

Lauren’s chalet is spacious, beautiful, well decorated and really feels like home. My husband and I loved the primary suite, the bed was very comfortable. The kids loved the treehouse and all of the trees behind the house. I wish we had better weather but regardless of the cold, we really enjoyed the stay. The WiFi worked great even though it’s very remote!

We loved our 3rd stay at Mia’s Black Dog Lodge. It is very clean and well-supplied. The lodge fits our needs for a small ladies retreat perfectly.

Greg’a place was very clean with a lovely view of the river. The heated floors and useable fireplace made the space extra special. Would stay here again.

We booked this home for a family and friends cottage weekend and the place was exactly as described. It is a beautiful home very close to the slopes with lots of things to do (billiards, board games, hot tub, TV, BBQ). The host was very kind and responsive and was very flexible with out checkout time, which was very nice. Our group of 11 people all had a great weekend and we would definitely book this place again :)

Ann and Cheryl were exceptional hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time in spite of blizzard in April! The house is amazing and the surroundings are beautiful. I would highly recommend. We will be back!

Me and my coworker’s had to work in traverse city and this was a great place to stay very convenient that there’s a bathroom in each room for our privacy very peaceful and comfortable place

Joanna and Catalin made the trip extremely memorable for us. We traveled up to disconnect for a bit, and we felt right at home. Joanna and Catalin were always responsive and welcoming, and communicated really well. It was an easy check in and check out, without hassle. Book it! This place felt like home. The layout and amenities that this home offers are unmatchable. It’s very spacious with plenty of room to entertain. The open floor plan allows the entire family to interact with each other while cooking, eating, or watching tv. We made great family memories during spring break and can’t wait to return next year.

My family had to pivot at the last minute when our vacation home sprung a leak in the roof and into the home. We found this home available and had a response immediately from Susan. We actually like this place better than our own! The mid-century modern decor is amazing and cozy.. the home was extremely clean, the bedding was even cozy comfy. The kitchen had all the necessities and wow did we love the sauna especially after going snow tubing! The star of this place for us was the view out the dining room window to the beautiful Hills of Bellaire/Shanty Creek. Thank you Susan, we would definitely look you up again if in need in the future😊

Our stay at the Juniper was perfect from beginning to end. We had an easy check in and check out, absolutely no issues. Upon entering you could smell how clean the place was! In fact we all said it was the cleanest rental we have stayed at! The decor was simple yet very tasteful and the bedding was superb! The sheets were so soft and the pillows were great. After our first night we all said what a good night sleep we had and we had all checked to see what kind of beds we were sleeping on! The kitchen was well stocked and we really wanted for nothing. It is such a pretty spot, we wish we could have stayed longer. In fact our only complaint was that we were leaving during the snow storm because it would be a perfect place to be snowed in! Matthew was great to communicate with as well. Hands down, 5 stars!

We had a great time at Joe’s chalet with our family, 8 adults and 2 children. A beautiful chalet with everything you need. We did lots of cooking and found everything we needed in the kitchen. There was lots of snow so most of us were able to access the ski in and ski out. The hot tub and sauna were an added pleasure. The beds were very comfortable and lots of towels available.

We've been to Murls cottage a few times. It is perfect for the findley lake area, and we even brought our snowshoes for the trails behind the cottage. Vintage, old school cottage as pictured, and we love having the fireplace.

A great place to relax and unwind!!

Cabin is lovely as are sandy and Rick. Feels like you’re at a friends nice place. They will help or leave you alone as much as wanted. Other 2 cabins they manage are on their own lots - everything feels private. Great bird watching too. Stayed w my mom and my infant. Very comfortable. As listing says it is probably not the place for little kids that can move (just w stairs and nearby river etc). Would like to come back again without a kid to relax again soon!

This home was exactly what we were hoping it would be: peaceful, quiet, secluded, and absolutely breathtaking views. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hosts were awesome to work with, responsive and helpful. Looking forward to hopefully returning!

What a haven! A really lovely, clean, and well-stocked home. All the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry amenities you’d need, tv in just about every room, easy-to-adjust heating and air conditioning, comfortable beds with fresh linens, and just spectacular views. Twin recliners built into the couch! Multiple decks! Off the road enough to feel secluded. We’d go back again in a heartbeat.

this was a beautiful place to stay for the weekend and only about 30 minutes from boyne! would definitely stay here again!

We had the most wonderful time at Dan and Voula’s lovely rental. Their space was pristine, so well stocked and had so many thoughtful touches. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. A very tastefully decorated and cozy space that was a hit with our whole group. The beds were very comfortable with lovely linens. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary getaway. I am so glad that we did! The property is absolutely beautiful. Everything was super clean and ready for our check in. We found everything we needed in the home, from kitchen items to a few bathroom items that we forgot to pack. We so appreciated the view of the lake, from inside and out on the deck and pier. Watching the sunset was priceless. The hammock was sleep inducing! This property is so serene, so peaceful, so gorgeous. I just can't say enough good things about it. Sierra was very communicative, approachable, responsive, and accommodating. She truly is a Superhost. We will definitely be staying here again! On a side note, treat yourself to a meal at Drift on Pine, just 10 minutes away, as it was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. It is everything that it is supposed to be and more.
