We had an incredible experience staying in the open desert with Nabhu and his local team, including the camel men! The starry night in the desert was everything we had been looking for, and Nabhu made it happen. However, it's essential to note that there are no washroom facilities available in this stay. Guests need to be prepared to manage in the open area, which was the only concern we faced during our stay. Overall, we highly recommend this unique desert experience, but with the caveat to be prepared for the lack of amenities."

If you want to stay in the heart of the fort, this is a perfect place to stay. But bear in mind this is exactly what it says on the tin, something built hundreds of years ago! This means there won’t always be hot water and heating on demand. Things go wrong. But Pikoo is incredibly responsive and will do everything she can to sort it. We booked all five bedrooms and so there was a communal lounge for us and blankets for when it was cold (mid January!). The building is incredible and the views from the restaurant on the roof top are brilliant. The staff are lovely and Naveen can arrange desert tours and taxis as needed. Depending on which room you are in it can be very noisy with roof top parties elsewhere in to the small hours, so bring ear plugs! Pikoo also provided lovely Indian snacks each afternoon which were appreciated by all.

A serene and secluded retreat in a Rajasthan village. The location is truly isolated, with no one around for a 4 km radius. While this offers peace and tranquility, it can feel a bit eerie at times. The hosts, however, were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a unique and immersive experience in rural Rajasthan.

The haveli is beautifully maintained and a perfect stay for any one visiting Jaisalmer. Located close to the market and other sightseeing destinations in Jaisalmer. The haveli is equipped with all amenities and very well maintained. Our host Bhanu ji was really amazing having a wide knowledge of Rajasthan and was extremely helpful in arranging everything we needed to the very last detail. The haveli is well looked after by the caretaker Rajan who was always available whenever one needed anything. Perfect play for a stay made even more comfortable by the host and caretaker. Definitely recommended for all future travelers.

I was here with my family. Each of us felt really good spending time at the place and listening to interesting stories Chotaram had to say. The village safari was very authentic and we all enjoyed it so well. We would definitely come back and agin recommend this place to our friends. Thank you

A night under the stars in the desert was Pure magic! Stunning dunes, countless stars, delicious food, campfire, friendly staff, and a peaceful camel ride with no other camps around. After the desert stay, we spent three days at Ratan Villa inside the fort, also hosted by Kapil. The rooms had modern finishing. The front-facing rooms provided stunning sunrise views, while the rooftop seating area showcased mesmerizing views of both sunrise and sunset. The location was convenient, with many good restaurants nearby. The true standout of our stay was Kapil — an honest, attentive host, and now a dear friend. Along with his staff, Rajan and Rahul, he promptly responded to every request. The phone was always answered within a few rings. Local offbeat recommendations provided by him were spot on! Evenings were spent enjoying the captivating city views from the rooftop, sipping tea, and flying kites. The peaceful atmosphere and pleasant conversations with Kapil made our stay unforgettable.
