Nous avons passé 5 nuits à El Sama' et se fut une très belle découverte. La maison est spacieuse, propre, bien équipée et la rénovation a été faite avec beaucoup de goût. Elle est idéalement située pour arpenter la médina. La terrasse, qui domine la ville, est une merveille. Ibrahim a été disponible pendant tout notre séjour. Quand à Raphaël, il a été très proactif avant et pendant notre séjour : un grand merci à lui pour ses conseils et attentions. El Sama' est la maison idéale pour découvrir cette belle ville de Chefchaouen.

Perfekter Ort zum Entspannen! Unser Aufenthalt in diesem BnB in Fez war einfach traumhaft! Von der ersten Minute an habe ich mich willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gestaltet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und einer Atmosphäre, die absolute Ruhe und Entspannung ausstrahlt. Eine Menge Geschichte steckt in dem Haus Die Lage ist ideal – nah genug, um die faszinierende Stadt zu erkunden, aber gleichzeitig ein ruhiger Rückzugsort fernab vom Trubel. Besonders begeistert hat mich der charmante Innenhof, in dem man wunderbar entspannen kann. Auch das Frühstück war köstlich und mit frischen, lokalen Zutaten zubereitet. Die Küche ist optimal ausgestattet. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man sich super entspannen. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, gab tolle Tipps und sorgte dafür, dass es mir an nichts fehlte. Ich kann dieses BnB jedem empfehlen, der in Fez eine Oase der Ruhe sucht. Ich komme definitiv wieder! Kommen definitiv wieder

Samir’s home was beautiful. Sparkling clean. We enjoyed the multi level layout. But my husband did need to duck his head in the stairs in a couple of places. The view was spectacular and situated right in the heart of the blue city. Samir and his co-host were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our time in Fez and at Mohammed`s place. It is a beautiful traditional old house, with well preserved interior. Right in the middle of the old city. Ideal for our group of 6 visiting the city for several days. It is quite a challenge to find your way through narrow streets, but Mohammed was kind enough and arranged the transport from the train station and a guide for last 10 minutes of the journey, through the maze of the small streets. Mohammed and his sister were very helpful. Greeted us on our arrival and helped to make our time in Fez enjoyable - helping with tips for the places to see, arranging a certified (and knowledgable) guide, sharing the history of the city ... .

Great host! He responded immediately and even gave some recommendations for restaurants and helped us with the rideshare. It’s also in a great location under ten minutes to the market where all the main restaurants and shops are.

What a wonderful stay - Joe and Claire have lovingly restored the riad and kept many traditional touches. The riad is spacious and private, the bathrooms and shower room were clean and worked well, and there is excellent wifi throughout the home up to the rooftop. The real gem of this riad is the rooftop, with Medina views and delicious breakfasts prepared by Imane. Thank you for having us in your home!

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour dans la villa de Sara. Celle-ci, d’une architecture très originale est bien pensée, est composée de 4 pavillons indépendants, disposés autour d’une magnifique piscine. Le 1er bâtiment est composé d’un salon, cuisine, chambre et 2 salles de bains. Les 2ème et 3ème pavillons sont composés chacun d’une chambre et d’une salle de bains, pour une totale intimité. Enfin, le dernier se compose d’un salon ouvert vers le jardin et la piscine. Nous recommandons totalement ce logement pour les personnes à la recherche de calme et de sécurité. Notre hôte Sara, ainsi que le gardien et sa femme, ont été d’une gentillesse exemplaire et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos sollicitations et pour qu’on se sente comme chez nous. Un grand merci à Sara qui a même installé des climatiseurs avant notre arrivée. A très bientôt…

Tout était excellent, identique aux photos et description. Les hôtes sont très serviables amicaux et réactifs. Le gardien Mohammed et sa famille sont d’une gentillesse sans pareil et étaient tout le temps disponible pour apporter leur aide. Je recommande vivement et reviendrai certainement dès que je peux. I liked the place so much, I booked it for an extra extended period. Everything was so peaceful and wonderful. Life is very slow in a very good way in the tiny village of Berwawa. Even though I stayed in the winter, I was plenty warm inside my bedroom with the heater on low. We had some nice rains while I was there and some very clear and sunny days. The rolling green hills looked just like a postcard. So picturesque with olive trees dotting the landscape. The locals continued to be super welcoming and I had no problems whatsoever. Note: The locals here don’t speak much of any English, but we had fun having deep conversations with the Google Translate app for instant spoken word translation. Power remained consistent as well as Maroc Telecom 4G connectivity. Note: Other carriers may have issues, but you’ll probably want Maroc Telecom anyhow since you’ll have the greatest coverage, country-wide. I came to Berwawa to get away from distractions and focus on working and writing music. It was so perfect there that I developed some great playing techniques far beyond my expectations! Mohammed was super accommodating and came to pick me up at short notice when my plans changed and I moved on to Fes. Now, sitting in my sweeping-panorama-view apartment inside the old Fes medina, I find myself missing the tranquility of Berwawa. I wish I could have stayed longer. Never once did I feel unsafe, and I had everything I needed from the local farming villagers or from the little store in-town. Even though I don’t have any specialized “farm lore” skills, I never felt inconvenienced by the simplicity of the accommodations and had no troubles with my daily routine whatsoever. I felt relieved to dial things back and simplify my life for a moment while I unwound in the serenity of it all. I just discovered that there’s taxi service which makes a round trip between Fes and Berwawa each day. The cost is 60MAD (about $6.50USD) per-seat, each way. A bargain since it take 2-3 hours each way. This alone makes Berwawa easily accessible for tourists wanting to get away from it all to enjoy the fresh air, clean water, and the wonderful produce from the bountiful Rif Mountain region. Here, there is no fear of getting ripped off by greedy touts looking to fleece you as you'll find in the tourist traps. This never occurred here. Berwawan's are an honest and honorable people in my opinion. Mohammed’s place has been an amazing experience. Truly the highlight of my entire Moroccan tour. Renting the entire ½ acre citrus, olive and vegetable farm with the large adobe farmhouse proved to be not only a great deal for the money, but an untapped area where there are zero tourists, and local hospitality abounds. I’ll never forget the friendships I made there since you’ll be treated as family with a genuineness of heart that is such a rarity in the world today. Thank you again, Mohammed. You and your family will always hold a dear place in my heart and I hope to come again to Berwawa sooner than later!

Het is een prachtige omgeving en je hebt echt privacy en rust. Het huis is goed onderhouden en schoon en ook het zwembad is schoon en groot met een hele mooie buiten keuken (bbq). We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf. Ook zijn er veel fruitbomen op het land die je lekker vers kan plukken en eten. Met 20 minuten ben je met dr auto bij de marjanne of de Souk in Nador of het strand. Ismail is ook een hele aardige gastheer die altijd bereikbaar is voor vragen of hulp. Bedankt Ismail en in shaa Allaah tot de vokgende keer.

State of the art villa with amazing views and privacy. Need a car to access, about 20 mins to nearest supermarket. Ali was super helpful. Few issues with the facilities but did not harm our experience- would love to visit again. Thanks!

Un séjour parfait ! L'hébergement était conforme à la description, très propre et bien équipé. L’endroit est calme et chaleureux, parfait pour se détendre et se sentir comme chez soi. Mr lahcen a été extrêmement accueillant, disponible et attentionné tout au long de notre séjour. Je recommande vivement et n'hésiterai pas à réserver à nouveau.

Wat een geweldig en luxe appartement! Het is precies zoals op de foto's met een mooi groot balkon met een loungeset. Twee grote slaapkamers met grote bedden erin en een tv, airconditioning, voldoende kastruimte. Een keuken met echt alles wat je nodig hebt: grote oven, grote koelkast/diepvries en zelfs een wasmachine. Uitzicht op het zwembad. Dat werd ook allemaal netjes gehouden. Wij waren met z'n vijven (3 volwassen kinderen). Eén van de kinderen sliep op de bank, maar dat lag prima en er was een dekbed in de kast. In de badkamer en wc ook toiletpapier en handzeep. De aankomst was ook erg gemakkelijk, we kregen direct een duidelijke routebeschrijving naar het juiste huisje en de toegangscode. We hebben genoten van de vakantie en kunnen dit appartement zeker aanraden.

We stayed at Mohammed’s apartment in the vibrant Batha area of Fes with our family of four, and it was a perfect fit. The apartment was beautifully decorated with colorful Moroccan tiles and traditional touches, creating a cozy, authentic vibe. The rooftop terrace was a highlight, offering a relaxing spot with stunning views to unwind after exploring the medina. Mohammed was a friendly and responsive host, always quick to answer questions and share local tips. This place felt like a home away from home, and we’d recommend it without hesitation!"

Nous avons adoré la maison d'Aicha, que nous avons trouvée confortable et décorée avec goût. Ce fut un véritable havre de paix au cœur du bruit et de l'agitation de la médina. Il faut toutefois s'attendre à entendre les 4 appels à la prière depuis les chambres. À notre arrivée, nous avons été guidés par Amed, que nous avons retrouvé à l'entrée de la médina, jusqu'à la maison. C'était rassurant et facilitant quand on ne connaît pas la médina car on peut vite s'y perdre. Nous avons également apprécié les petits déjeuners que nous avons pris en supplément et qui étaient préparés et servis sur place. Enfin, Aicha s'est montrée très réactive et disponible, la communication a été très fluide entre nous. Bref, nous vous recommandons sans hésiter de séjourner dans cette jolie maison !

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen für Reisende mit dem Auto. Man kann direkt am Bab El Mahrouk parken und von dort zu Fuß zur Unterkunft gelangen. Die Unterkunft selbst ist ausgestattet mit allem, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Zur Kasbah sind es ca. 6-8 Minuten Fußweg. Man beachte, dass aufgrund der Lage einige Treppen zu besteigen sind. Für uns war dies allerdings kein Problem. Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. 😊

Très agréable séjour chez Katrien au cœur de la médina de Fes. Le logement est très propre et très confortable. Un havre de paix entre 2 visites, surtout sur les différentes terrasses agréables à tout moment de la journée. Kateien a été très accueillante, à l'image des gens de ce pays.... elle a organisé à notre demande notre transport depuis l'aéroport et notre arrivée au logement avec l'aide d'un porteur. Je recommande vivement !
