Charming old farmhouse.

The house is in the romantic village of Eyrarbakki. It has a kitchen and living room in an open space, a separate space with a double bed, and a loft with three beds. The house was built in 1915 but was renovated recently, warm and cosy. The village is by the sea, about 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik and 70 minutes from the international airport. It has a very nice restaurant, a bird reservation and more. The location is perfect for exploring the south and the golden circle.

Gamla húsið is in Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga horse-farm, located in the south of Iceland, 35km -from Reykjavík in Ölfus and 3min. drive off Route 1. Perfect as either the starting point for an exploration of southern Iceland or as a base since it is close to the Golden Circle and a few hours drive to the glaciers and black sands of the south. Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga is a horse farm, on the banks of the salmon-rich Ölfusá river surrounded by beautiful landscape.

The Little House

The house is 25 square meters. standing absolutely alone on a one hectares plot of land. Small football field, trampoline and balcony. No one will disturb you, unless maybe sounds from the birds all around or the horses on next plot. The house is cozy and warm. Keep in mind that the main bed is 120cm wide.
