You will be staying in picturesque Northern Bucks County in a Strawbale constructed home. We are located on 25 acres with a 4 acre organic orchard. Our property abuts 5286 acre Nockamixon State Park which has mountain biking, boating, fishing and hiking. We are out in the country but only an hour from Philadelphia and 1 1/2 hours to New York City. You will be located in walking distance of a coffee shop, Italian restaurant and within 20 to 30 minutes of Doylestown, Frenchtown and New Hope.

The Shanty is a one room 200 sq.ft. cottage for a weekend get-away, a short to long-term work assignment or the perfect spot for creative work like composing or writing. We are very excited to announce that our cabin has a huge upgrade as of Spring '25. We now have a full bathroom with running water! Note that cabin has a kitchenette, not full kitchen.

It is a great place for a weekend getaway. There a many restaurants relatively close by to go get dinner at as well. Our property has limited wifi and cell phone service, perfect for an unplugged getaway.
