Beautiful location! Loved having access to a quiet lake. Perfect spot to relax with our two kids. Great games and coloring options inside. We enjoyed having a movie night with one of the many dvds available too! The cottage is cosy and cute and we had just the right space for our family! Thank you!

We had an excellent stay at Jason’s house! Loved the BIG dining table for board games, and the (adult) kids enjoyed the video games. The small upcharge to bring the dog along was well worth it, cheaper than boarding. We hope to visit again when the weather is better so we can enjoy the lake as well.

We had an annual girls/sisters weekend at the Chalet and we will definitely be back! The chalet was exactly what we were looking for! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking in! Unfortunately, the weather was cold and rainy when we stayed, but that didn’t stop us from using the hot tub overlooking the lake. The wood stove was on the whole time we were there which made it extra cozy. Ky and Anna were super responsive and allowed us to check in as soon as the cleaning crew was finished! 10/10 would recommend!!

With both of our sons in active duty, we didn’t feel like celebrating Easter in our big traditional way. I told my husband I needed to get away and find a peaceful place to be and we found exactly that and more. Karen’s cozy cottage was so very cozy, and clean with all the mountain and lake vibes you need. We didn’t expect to spend too much time at the cottage because the area has a great deal to offer, but when we were there we could watch boats right from inside the cottage. We even watched the sun set over the mountain. This getaway was exactly what we needed when we were missing our sons. I highly recommend Karen’s cottage to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful and beautiful location. Extra bonus was that our pup Roxie was welcomed there and everywhere we went. Thank you Karen for sharing your cottage with us.

Me and my family had an awesome stay. The house was great with lots of space and places to sleep. We were 8 ppl and there was more than enough room. Garage/game room was awesome I just wish it was insulated with some heat we had to wear our coats to be comfortable, of course the weather was 26F so it was expected. The rest of the house was warm and cozy. I would love to rent this same house in the summer it must be amazing with the view of the lake. One more thing is although there are 2 bathrooms its more like 1 because the second bathroom upstairs has a little door that leads to the room with the 4 beds so the other people not staying in that room didn’t use that bathroom to not get walked in on unexpectedly. Overall I still gave this place 5 stars and it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed and the host is very responsive and accommodating.

The house was perfect! We could not have had a better experience! The house had a lot of charm and all updated appliances! The location was perfect and the host was great! I would stay there again only next time it would be for longer than 2 days!

Jan and Mike were wonderful hosts. They were welcoming, thoughtful, and available to ask questions or chat. They also give their tenants plenty of space and privacy. The space was clean, cozy, and well-designed; it had everything you might need for a relaxing time away. Although, the Internet works very well if you do need to access email or attend to any work/academic related tasks. Views of the lake were gorgeous, and being on the lake was even better. Jan and Mike let us borrow their kayaks on our last morning, which was exactly what we needed. We highly recommend their cottages!
