Our floathouse has everything a guest could want: privacy, beautiful waterfront location, and a dock for your kayaks. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels. Built over 60 years ago as a bunkhouse for hand logging shows (camps) it became part of our floating household. It has been many places on the coast in its life and still rests on its skid logs. However, I think our traveling household days are over.
We offer a two bedroom fully furnished home located on Cortes Island. This beach house is a wonderful place to unwind, breathe the ocean air and experience the quiet surroundings. Enjoy the views from the patio or have a beach fire. Inside get cozy by the fireplace with one of the many books provided for your stay.
Totally renovated cabin, rustic on the outside, all new interior. High tide comes right up to the deck. Whale watching and great sunsets from the deck. Sunshine Coast Trail access points 5 minutes away. Copeland Island Marine Park, a 20 minute paddle.
