The local airport and ferry that services the Aran Islands is a short drive away. Galway City is a 30 min drive away with its many artisan shops and restaurants. We are near An Spidéal, where you can find cafés, pubs, shops, restaurants, pharmacies, a medical centre, and a craft village. Located in the heart of the Irish-speaking Gaeltacht, near Galway City, and on the Wild Atlantic Way, we are in an ideal location to explore Conamara, the Aran Islands and County Clare.

Guest Accommodation in Spidéal, No Wifi

This is a wooden chalet to the rear of our property that we use to accommodate family when visiting. The village of Spiddal is a 15 - 20 minute walk away and Galway City is 12miles or 17km away. There is a regular bus service ( the 424) You can catch the bus and get off the bus at the end of the road which is a 5 minute walk from the property but having a car is probably best. It's a great base for exploring Galway and Connemara etc. No WIFI
