Ager Costa

Nestled on the edge of Buseto Palizzolo, a small village 20 km from Trapani, is Ager Costa — one of our most welcoming villas in Sicily. The location is quiet but not overly isolated, with lots of sunshine, countryside views and other village houses nearby. On warm days, cool off in the beach-style private swimming pool, or lounge on one of the sun chairs. An outdoor barbecue is a great way to cook up a casual meal—once it’s ready, enjoy it in the alfresco dining area. A daily tidying service is included. Inside the villa you’ll notice touches of exposed stone and a pleasant mix of antiques and contemporary pieces throughout, and more importantly, that the furnishings are both tasteful and comfortable. The main kitchen comes fully equipped with plenty of appliances, including an 8-burner gas stove, dishwasher, microwave and two refrigerators. An upstairs kitchenette is convenient for preparing light snacks and refreshments. The villa’s eight bedrooms accommodate up to 16 guests. Each suite features an ensuite bathroom with a private shower and air conditioning, while most offer mini bar and LCD televisions. A junior suite is ideal for young families, as are bedrooms 6 and 7 which share an interconnecting door. Two bedrooms feature French beds (47 inches / 120 cm wide) which is between the sizes of a single and a double bed. There are plenty of charming towns and archeological sites to explore nearby, including the medieval old town center of Erice and the temple of Segesta. The old-world towns of Cisternino and Martina Franca are a short drive through enchanting countryside.
