A beautiful space in an exceptional location. Jharna and Rohan live the sustainable lifestyle and the place reflects the same. They and the team was very warm and helpful and did everything possible to make the stay comfortable. Instructions were / communication was clear and non intrusive giving us a lot of space for chats and catching up. The beautiful coconut grove, sound of the waves, the distant horizon - it's a five star place, just an hour away from Mumbai. Food was fresh, flavourful, well-made and served with love, but being within the sustainable farm-to-table practice makes the menu limited. The surrounds / village has a peace and calm - no activities as such - the property is so good that one may not feel like stepping out. Overall, had a great time with friends. A highly recommended offline recharge.

We had a good overall experience during our stay at this property. The location is excellent, being very close to the beach, which made our trip enjoyable and convenient. The property itself is well-maintained, comfortable, and met our expectations. However, one downside is the limited availability of restaurants and marketplaces nearby. This meant fewer dining and shopping options within close proximity, which could be inconvenient for longer stays. That said, if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway near the beach and don’t mind fewer amenities nearby, this place is a great choice.

Exceptional Stay with Great Service! I had an amazing experience at this homestay! The place was exceptionally clean, with a well-maintained kitchen and bathroom, making my stay very comfortable. The WiFi was fast and reliable, which was a big plus. What truly made the stay special was the outstanding hospitality. The hosts were very accommodating, allowing an early check-in and a late check-out, which made my trip much more convenient. They also recommended great hotels and reliable scooty rentals, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, this homestay exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay. I would definitely return!

The best host and family i have ever met. The place is outstanding the perfect blend of farm, beach and old portugal. the host outstanding not to mention the numerous animals from birds to horses . Dr pinto and his family went way beyond any expectation a must goan experience. for anyone. Great place for kids to learn about animals and farms and also for people to get away from a busy life. the best part beach is 5 minutes away and market and eating joints are nearby yet you feel cocooned in greenery and quiet

This place was just as advertised. Very spacious bungalow with a large plantation of trees. We loved the vibes of this villa as well as the delicious home cooking of the caterer. The maid and generator also made the stay more convenient. Would love to come back at the next opportunity!

we booked the cottage but then decided to go for the main villa. Ms Nandita was kind enough to consider our request at short notice. The place itself is a rustic beauty. The charm of being isolated and the feel of having a house and then garden and then the beach was fully lived at this property. The view from balcony or having your meal sitting by the pool area was soulful. The place is isolated but then that's the charm of this place. Being in the midst of nature and yet a luxurious stay to live at. It's not just the villa but the experience that comes along as you don't feel the need to step out. The beach itself is clean beautiful and amongst the lesser known marvels. Special mention for caretaker Ram and his family who make you feel at home and are so courteous. Visit this place for the unique experience one might get. It's far from the market or the noise of city and that's what makes this place special. Already planning for next visit soon. 2 nights stay wasn't enough.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The place & amenities were exactly as described. The place was amazingly clean and well furnished. Perfect place in ECR with proximity to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Loved the place. It felt like we had the beach to ourselves as it’s at the end of the road and very few people come there. The water is clean and pristine . Loved the food and the care that was given to us. Would definitely recommend the place for peace , positive energy and rejuvenation.

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist beeindruckend und bietet viel Platz. Direkt vom Pool aus kann man zum Meer gehen und die Ruhe am Strand genießen. Im Meer baden kann man leider nicht, da die Strömung zu stark ist, allerdings hat uns das überhaupt nicht gestört, da es den Pool gibt und wenn man möchte kann man in ca 1km Entfernung im Meer baden gehen. Dort haben wir auch Schildkröten gesehen! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

I’m a worldwide traveler and an airbnb Host myself. The host team did a great job arranging the seaplane back and forth from Male airport. The pictures of the property didn’t really showed how beautiful this place is. You are actually coming to a super large 5 star resort with many swimming pools, many bars, many restaurants and a lot of activities to do. We stayed 5 nights only and felt at home and like we needed 1 more month to really enjoy and discover the entire resort. All the staff were super friendly on every single place we visited. The beaches are something to remember like a movie postal each one of them. Couple of years ago we visited Bora Bora & stayed in an ocean bungalow there as well, and though we wouldn’t find another gem like that. Well, we all think we were wrong. This place in Maldives surpassed Bora Bora by a mile. Definitely will back in the future & will contact the Host once again for a great & unforgettable trip. Super super highly recommended. I would start first from the check-in. Host provided early check-in as property was available. Care taker Ricolin was available based on our call to him. Property is nice, silent place, properly maintained, walkable distance to beach as mentioned on Airbnb. Excellent place for vacation for a large family or group of family and friends. 1 AC was not working when we arrived so reported to host and caretaker and immediately they got it repaired. Good support from both. Swimming pool is small in size and shared between 2 Villas but properly maintained. Only a small family can use it at a time. Very good open space and balcony to be utilised for drinking and smoking. Sofa placed in the balcony could have been cleaned. We didn't used balcony as outside open space was well enough. Care taker Ricolin provided all the support and arranged rent bike at the property itself for us. Overall a very good stay we friends enjoyed here. Thanks to host Indrajit and Care taker Ricolin.

We had an amazing stay at Indie’s house! The host and the staff in the house makes you feel right at home. The breakfast in the morning is homemade and delicious. The house, garden and pool were cleaned daily. The host offered lots of info on activities, restaurants and arranged our transportation. The house is spacious, well decorated and has everything you could need. Right on the beach, you can hear the waves from your bedroom. Will definitely stay there again :)

Excellent value for money for what you get. The villa is super spacious and has all of the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. All four bedrooms have large and comfortable beds, each having its own bathroom and AC. The shared space is extremely generous in space also, so you will never feel cramped. The view from the balconies and pool area is priceless. It was amazing to open my balcony in the morning to see the sea/lighthouse. The pool was very clean due to a cleaner coming daily to clean it. There was an added bonus of a fan in the porch to cool you down (we really appreciated that). The walk down to the beach is 10 minutes and their are readily available rikshaws to return via vehicle if you don't want to walk up the hill. Sreenath was faultless in his communication before, during and after our stay. I never got to meet him in person, but via a phone call and messages he was an extremely helpful and empathetic host. I will definitely return soon. Thank you Sreenath.

Lovely stay. Location is outstanding, straight onto the beach. Sashi - the house keeper - is as kind as it gets and cooks amazing dishes. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and she came with a gift, not only for the birthday girl but also her sister... So kind.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa, located right on the serene and picturesque Talpe Beach. The calm, crystal-clear waters were perfect for calm bathing, and we were lucky enough to spot massive turtles every morning! We loved the option of cooking for ourselves, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The vibrant markets in Galle, just a 15-minute drive away, offered an incredible variety of fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables, which was a real treat. If you prefer, Anjalee, the lovely housekeeper, is also available to cook you breakfast. The villa was impeccably clean, and the communication with Jack was seamless and clear from start to finish. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

A beautifully designed house, directly on the sands of a lovely quiet beach. Perfect for swimming, surfing or snorkeling! Views of the ocean can be seen from every room in the house. Our highlights were afternoon drinks in the pool, and champagne in the hot tub of an evening. The house is immaculate, and the staff are so attentive. The chef is fantastic, best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka! The house is walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and the very popular ‘Doctors House’. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very nice traditional Indian style accommodation very close to the beach lovely people

We were a family of 6 staying 2 nights at The Villa by the Sea to attend a wedding in Madh Island. This place suited our needs. There was plenty of space to sleep and keep our belongings. They also made arrangements for our driver to have access to a bathroom to freshen up during the two days he was with us. Shagun and Ronald were both very responsive to my inquiries and the staff at the place we're friendly and accomodating. The place is clean, breakfast of anda pav, aloo bhajji and poha was delicious and the lawn and pool were great ambience to relax in. The beach is also literally right across the road if you choose to take a walk during low tide.

Our family of four had a fantastic stay at SALT in April. Simon was really responsive before we arrived and Aravinda was extremely welcoming and very helpful during our stay. Making amazing breakfasts each morning to enjoy by the sea! We used their recommended TukTuk driver Nihal to get around and again he was very friendly and always there to take us/pick us up. The house is beautiful, an oasis from the hustle and bustle. A great location for exploring the area, going surfing and nights out in Galle. It was a perfect end to an amazing 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. A big thank you to everyone at Salt Beach House. I would highly recommend a stay here.
