It’s a days inn so it was exactly what I expected. Perfect place to stay if traveling or visiting the area. They were easy to communicate with. Also very flexible on checking. Would stay again.

We love Peggy’s place. The view is wonderful, and everything well apportioned. This is our second stay and would gladly visit again.

The place was well kept and clean. Almost brand new! Just be aware that you will have to drive to most of the amenities. Also you will have to pay a $20 per person fee for the use of the amenities and that wasn’t mentioned prior to renting. We went to Bottles and Bites on a Saturday night and it was great!

My husband and I had a wonderful getaway to Smith Mountain Lake. Nicole's place was a cozy space full of all the things we needed for the weekend. The space was clean and comfortable.

We loved staying here! The unit is small but decorated very nice and has all amenities you would need for a weekend away. Check in was easy with clear instructions provided the day before. We had no trouble operating the lock box or using the pin pad to enter the building. The unit was also very clean! The bed is so comfortable that we slept great both nights. We appreciated that Leslie left water and snacks available since we had forgotten to pack any in our rush to leave on the day of our trip. The beach and pergola near the water were nice to sit at in the evening. Although the on site restaurant was a bit pricy, the food was totally worth it. It was the best steak we had in a while! This unit met all of our expectations and we would definitely like to stay here again if we take another trip to SML.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was on the beautiful lake. The screened in porch is a huge bonus. We had plenty of space for our bags and my son's toys. It was very kid friendly. They really thought of off the amenities you might need on vacation. We will definitely be back some day. Thank you for a great stay!

Such a great place to stay at! The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect and it was off season so no one was there. Having the restaurants, Starbucks, and the market were also a great bonus. The bed is extremely comfortable and there’s a little beach access place to relax and get some sun while looking the beautiful views of the mountains. If we go back to Smith mountain Lake, we would definitely stay at this place again 💓

Stefan and Laura make you feel at home! They both were really nice and helpful all the time. The studio was amazing , if you want something different from the city this is a place to relax. I definitely recommend it.

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and the first time we visited SML. Our experience was great from our initial inquiry regarding boat launching, docking, and trailer storage at check-in to our departure 5 days later. Armand obtained the info and map links from the security office that we needed to launch the boat and store the trailer. which made it easy once we arrived. The view from the condo is beautiful any time of the day, but the view of the sunrise across the lake behind the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were very comfortable and felt at home during our stay. If you have a boat, bring it, you can’t beat waking down to the dock on this water playground with marinas, restaurants, beaches, and shops to visit. We’re looking forward to returning in the Spring.

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Great stay. Cute condo right above restaurant and store. Brought my SUP and used it a lot. Lots to do at Mariner’s landing. Great food and service at The Landing, Bruno’s and Bottles and Bites. State Park 7 minutes away is excellent for hiking. Lots of friendly neighbors! We’re ready to go back!!

The unit was extremely quiet, clean and comfortable. Lots of room for 6 adults. The unit has everything you need for cooking meals. The views are amazing. We stayed for our daughter’s graduation from Liberty University. I would love to come back when we have more time to enjoy the amenities. Kellen was extremely proactive and responsive.

This lovely home is a great space for a family to gather. Open and spacious with lots of places for privacy as well. Kitchen was well-equipped. Porch and screened porch lovely - butterflies everywhere. The upstairs bedroom is perfect for kids and downstairs had a big open game room, tv and bar area - a great alternate space. Not sure if the couches opened but it would be a great private sleep space as well as it had sink and full bath. We had a toddler who was up early, so it was a great place space away from the bedrooms in AM. The amenities of the community are not to be missed. The indoor pool was closed for maintenance, but the outdoor pools and beach area were just beautiful and relaxing. We did have issue with keyless entry - lock would time out trying to get in (9 digit code) and we had very bad cell service there, so be sure to login to the home wifi if you need to call Vacasa for help. BTW Vacasa was extremely responsive. Very happy with our stay and the value for the $.

Este lugar es increíble, mágico encantador para estar lejos de la multitud y el ruido, si quieres conectar con la naturaleza y compartir con amigos y familia esta es una opción increíble, nos alojamos con mi familia aquí y fue un tiempo increíble inolvidable, todo es perfecto, las camas son súper cómodas, el sofá junto a la chimenea y poder ver a lo lejos las montañas, es algo que no puedo describir con un texto. Logan was a very responsive host. We enjoyed the home very much. The kids loved the arcade games, the back patio, and the big bubble bath on the main level which was very accessible for kids next to the bunk beds room they loved. We had a great family thanksgiving in the beautiful dinning room. Would highly recommended this home for anyone visiting Liberty University or Lynchburg Virginia for family trip. Great location and we loved watching the red cardinals through the big windows in the kitchen/ breakfast nook.
