Mary's Place, a charming cottage renovated in 2022, is nestled in the historic walkable town of Warrenton. With all the comforts of home, this peaceful haven is ideal for any traveler-couples, families, or singles. Complete with extras, like a coffee station, a king sized bed and cozy fireplace in the master suite, and a deck that wraps around to the spacious backyard. The oak tree shaded back deck is perfect for taking in that sweet southern breeze with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

The sunlit cottage is perfect place to enjoy the largest lake in Virginia, exploring nearby state parks, the quaint town of Clarksville, or nearby breweries/wineries. The cottage offers an open view of the lake and use of a dock (150 yds from house) for fishing, swiming, docking watercraft or watching the sunset. A great retreat for a small family of 4 or 2 couples. Please indicate the number of guests; parties over 4 must be pre-approved. Reservation must be by an adult (age 21+).

The private dock has boat cleats and fishing rod holders and is just steps away, so bring your boat! Bluestone boat landing is just a mile away.

Buggs Island Bungalow

Buggs Island Bungalow One of the oldest residences in Clarksville, the house dates back to the 1800's. We purchased it in 2019 and have lovingly renovated the space and returned it to its former glory. Enjoy all the amenities Clarksville has to offer. Enjoy morning coffee on the screened porch and then stroll to the lake or downtown for antique shopping, and then enjoy a brew at Buggs Island Brewing Company. Please note due to parking constraints we cannot accommodate boat parking.

Lake views, gentle slope, calm cove, sandy beach, private dock, fish-cleaning station, screened porch, deck, grill, dog-friendly three-acre property. UPDATE: Extreme drought in effect, affecting lake levels. Cove is inaccessible by boat below 298 ft mean sea level. Check kerr . uslakes . info for lake level status. Contact us with questions. We are happy to share our most recent photos of the dock and cove area. Keep in mind that levels can fluctuate dramatically on a weekly basis.

Located about 5-10 minutes to Clarksville, VA and 15-20 minutes from South Boston, VA.
