Cosy house in south Iceland close to the Interior

Cozy and comfortable former farm house located between the neighbouring towns of Vík and Kirkjubæjarklaustur on the south coast. Only 45 km from Vík and 30 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The house is in a quiet area of the main road with beautiful scenery all around. The house is perfect for families and friends travelling together. It is a perfect base-camp while exploring the south coast of Iceland with all its amazing waterfalls and visiting the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón.

Secluded Cabin on the Waterfront!

Our vacation cabin is secluded, yet not far from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A small and cozy cabin, with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft. The cabin is small and the sleeping loft is not with a full height so adults might find it cramped, so it might be better suited for a family of 4. This is the perfect base for visiting the South Coast of Iceland, with short driving distance to f.ex Fjarðárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Jórvík cottage 2, in Álftaver.

New year around, 30 m2 cottage in Álftaver, very warm and cozy. One bedroom with 153 cm. bed and a cabinet. In the main room is a pull out sofa bed 140 cm. TV, and a small kitchen with all basic utensils that you need to cook, stove, microwave, coffee maker and a kettle. Kitchen table and chairs. Bathroom with a shower. Porch with table and chairs. Free wifi. Great house for four guests, we provide a baby crib with bed linen. Great view. You can park your car in front of the cottage.

Brand new and well furnished studio apartment for two 30 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur! Perfect place to stay at right between Black beach and Jökulsárlón. Just a short 35 km drive from Eldgjá, 70 km drive from Landmannalaugar and 30 km drive from Fjaðrárgljúfur. Nearest grocery stores are in Kirkjubæjarklaustur (30km) and in Vík (45km). Vík is a beautiful town with old houses and a church that stands high above the town, there you may also find a good variety of restaurants.

Hólaskjól Cabin 3 / Eldgjá highlandcenter

Hólaskjól is located in Lambskarðshólar next to road F208 to Landmannalaugar. It is in an old lavafield from Eldgjá. It is a peaceful and quiet place with beautiful surroundings. There is just a five minute walk up the lavafield to an waterfall in Syðri-Ófæra that we call Huldufoss. The lavafield provides a good cover for Hólaskjól so there is almost never much wind there. There are excellent hiking trails in the area and up to Eldgjá.

Snæbýli Cottage 3

A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 45m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view
