Wandas place was great and nice and clean This location is only a short drive to deep creek and surrounding areas. it is very walkable and my dogs enjoyed the nearby trail. Wanda allowed my 2 dogs and was very responsive and let is check in a tad earlier. Wanda put a lot of time into the cute and welcoming decor in the apartment and it was very clean. Thanks for a great stay.

WOW!! The Hidden Gem was the loveliest AirBnb we have experienced. More than an exquisite apartment, this is a truly beautiful, soothing treetop retreat. The attention to detail was extraordinary, such thoughtful appointments from snacks and teas to vibrant green plants, charging stations, heavenly beds, and spotless cleanliness. We have already recommended it to several friends and plan to return again for a peaceful get-away—just to stay here! The proximity to Glen Echo and the Irish Inn is a happy bonus. We very much enjoyed our stay at Basil! It was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen had a good supply of pots, pans, knives, silverware, dishes, etc. It was especially nice to have a full rack of spices available so that we could cook meals without having to purchase all of the little extras. The living space was comfortable and spotless. There were many little touches that made the stay quite comfortable. Basil's location is ideal. Just a block from the Old Town walking mall, it was so easy to wander about, get great food, people watch, and enjoy the street buskers. It is also less than 3/4 of a mile from the trails of the Shenandoah Museum. The area is very walkable. It's also under 30 minutes to get to trailheads along the Appalachian Trail and under 45 minutes to the Shenandoah National Park. We stayed for over a week and would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend Basil.

Erick was a great host and very responsive. The apartment is clean and has great amenities. The staff at the apartment complex are not always the most helpful, but overall it was a great stay.

We did really enjoy the place, hes really good comunicating and the location is great.

Terese was very responsive with any questions that we had. The place was a perfect weekend stay for 2 people. About 30 minutes from Washington DC so I would recommend if you are trying to stay a little bit outside the city. Worth the stay and would come back.

Very convenient location! Kelly was very responsive and accommodating. For being so close to shops and restaurants, it was very quiet. Beds were comfy, and games and coloring books for the kiddos were an added bonus. Highly recommend, and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Paul was an excellent host. The townhouse is very well thought and presented. Comfy memory foam beds, kids loved the movie style bedroom downstairs (as did I) and our dogs settled right in after a good sniff around.

Lovely area close to the cute town of Harpers Ferry. Loved the Hot Tub.

We were in town for a wedding, the house was very nice and clean. Our only issue was we wish there was at least 1 more TV somewhere in the house. There is only 1 provided down in the basement and we had to use that room as a bedroom so no one else was able to watch tv. Other than that we enjoyed everything!

We enjoyed a lovely ladies getaway weekend. We were able to do some hiking, kayaking, canoeing and prepare meals at home. A very restful and peaceful weekend. This is a gated community, so there is a few minutes drive to get onto the main road.

It was a peaceful family get away. The house is well stocked with necessities. The animals were an adorable touch. I enjoyed feeding them more than the kids did. The trails are more for able bodied people. My clumsy 2 year old was not able to get very far. My kids and dogs loved playing in the mini beach. The cave hot tub unique but we were not able to use it. The peoperty itself is gorgeous. I would love to come back.

This is a really great location for a couple or family looking for good times on the town. So many great party and restaurant spots within 2 mins walk. But it’s somehow residential where the house is. House is perfectly set up for transit. The back parking was very convenient. Do pay attention to the owners advice about parking issues generally in the city. We had no real issues. We felt like the owner would be able to help us with almost anything, but I don’t think we really saw them ever. So that’s a cool trick too. I have no problem recommending this spot.

5 stars – Perfect little getaway in D.C. I stayed at Anita’s Airbnb for 3 days and 2 nights, and I can’t recommend it enough! The property is located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood in Washington D.C., which made the entire stay feel safe, cozy, and relaxing. The place itself was spotless – super clean and well-maintained. One thing that really stood out to me (and is honestly such a rare gem in the U.S.) was the bidet in the bathroom! That alone was a huge plus for comfort and convenience. Anita was a fantastic host. She was super responsive, kind, and made us feel really welcome throughout the stay. We had zero issues, which made everything that much smoother and more enjoyable. If you're visiting D.C., do yourself a favor and stay here. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat if I’m ever in town again. Highly, highly recommend!

The condo was cozy yet very spacious! Being able to walk right out the back door to the slopes was AMAZING! It snowed almost the whole time we were there so having personal garage access was a game changer. Will stay again in the future.
