The location is outskirt but not too far from city and easily accessible by JR. Im extremely grateful there is free car transfer to/from JR to the station ! The uncle is very nice and helped us with the bags. He explained the house very well. it’s also very easy to communicate with aya via airbnb message. She replied very quick. One time we don’t know how to turn on the heater and few minutes later another person came to help with it. The house is big. They had plenty of kitchenware which we used to have big dinner. I like the surrounding area with big land to play snow with the kids. Only thing i hope aya can provide some snow item so we can enjoy play with kids like sledge, snowball maker etc. If they can make a big slide (extend from the existing viewing deck) also can be so much fun !! Just an idea ! Overall, we enjoyed our stay !

綺麗でおしゃれ！大人数で宿泊し、全て揃っており、子供が遊べるおもちゃもあって、とても快適でした！ 近くのお風呂屋さんもすごくよかった！

木の香りが素敵なvillaでした。清潔で整頓されていて家具もこだわっていて大満足です。また、あたりは静かで景観もとても良いです。東川の市街地までは車で10分弱とアクセス良好。市街地中心に周りには素敵なお店がたくさんあるのでご飯には困りませんでした。市街地で夕飯を取り、帰りは代行を利用し2900円で帰れました。 ただ、階段が急で柵がないので足の悪い方は2階のベッドにあがることが困難かと思います。 子供が足を滑らせて2m近くの高さから落ちてしまうことも考えられるため、小さな子供がいる方は室内で目を離さない方がいいと思われます。 私はどちらにも該当しないので、酔っていてもベッドにたどり着け、特に問題はありませんでした。

Very impressed with how the entire house was spotlessly clean and dust-free! As parents of a young toddler, we really value the effort and thoughtfulness of the host - they provided a baby high chair, kid utensils and the sharp corners of furniture were covered with rubber protectors. There was a supermarket just across the street so it was very convenient to get breakfast or any other daily essentials. Highly recommend this place!

We very much enjoyed our month-long stay. The house is very well-located, off of a major road, and within easy driving distance of all the local sights and necessities. Our hosts were very kind and responsive, particularly with helping us to work out a strategy to keep warm in an older house - even bringing over a larger space heater for the bathroom. Having covered parking during the winter was a blessing, since it reduced the amount of snow we needed to clear - shoveling is clearly one of the ways the residents stay fit! Plenty of lighting, fast wifi, and a full kitchen rounded out a great stay.

I stayed for two nights from April 7th to 9th, and it was a fantastic experience. Keiko-san, the owner, welcomed us with a super friendly attitude and excellent English, even though we arrived around 8:00 PM in the evening. The house is fully equipped with everything a family who enjoys cooking could need. There’s also a playroom for kids and Japanese-style Futon beds for anyone wanting to try traditional sleeping. The house is situated in a peaceful and quiet village, about a 20-30 minute drive from Asahikawa, where you can find everything you might need. For anyone renting a car for a Hokkaido road trip, this location is the perfect central spot before heading to the north or east coast. When I plan my next road trip in Hokkaido, this will definitely be the first place I book. Highly RECOMMENDED!!! Hiro
