A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. The Harbour-master´s house in Tvøroyri on Suðuroy.

This cosy traditional faroese house from 1930 is located central in the town and in walking distance to café shops and supermarkets. The bus drives directly from the ferry to the house, so it´s not necessary to bring a car to come to the house. This house is perfect, if you like to experience the island of Suðuroy or just to relax in Tvøroyri. Suðuroy is the southern island of the Faroe Islands and has a lot of beautiful places, where you can hike. The host is ready to help you with advices.

The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. Small Studio-apartment located in Miðvágur. The apartment is located in a quiet enviroment, around 300 meter walk to grocery-store, resturant and a gas-station. It takes around 45 minutes to hike to Trælanípa and Bøsdalafossur from the apartment. And around 15 minutes drive to Gásadalur and the ferry to Mykines and 10 minutes drive to the airport.
