Very unique, authentic, and comfortable Southwest style home with tremendous charm and warmth, 12 miles down San Miguel Canyon from the historic town of Telluride, Colorado. Telluride is home to a world class ski area, two film festivals, several music festivals including Bluegrass in the summer and Chamber Music and Blues Festivals in the Fall. Telluride offers a wide choice of restaurants and nightlife. Sit on the sunny decks or enjoy a fire in one of the 3 Kiva style fireplaces throughout the house in winter or fall. Cook meals on a beautiful six burner stove in a kitchen with a fireplace called The Rio Pecos Cafe. Fifteen minutes to Telluride and a half hour drive to Ouray Hot Springs. There is an on site caretaker who lives in a separate, private soundproof apt on a different level than the main house. He is there if you need him and invisible if you don't.

Our condo is in a great location in Telluride. Ski lifts are just across the river. The town shuttle stops out front and we are on the river trail connecting to downtown, hiking and biking trails and the beautiful valley floor. Grocery store, liquor store, and our favorite Thai restaurant are just a minute's walk. There are hot tubs and a sauna to relax in after playing in the mountains. Our condo is equipped with all the comforts of home. These condos have beautiful park like open space.

The studio is conveniently located in town within a few blocks of restaurants, parks, river, shops, and walking trails. Ride your bike to the RAT trails or drive 2 miles to Orvis Hot Springs to soak after skiing or hiking all day. The home is 40 miles from Telluride Ski Resort, 15 minutes from Ouray, and less than 6 miles from Top of the Pines nature preserve. STR 2020-20 This BRAND NEW, modern yet cozy top floor apartment in the heart of Ridgway's Historic District occupies the second floor of a two story building. The apartment is ideal for a couple with 2 children- bathroom includes a tub and shower. The master bedroom has a brand new King Size Remote Controlled Adjustable Bed. The second bedroom contains a trundle bed in which the two beds can be separated or pushed together for one big bed. Please see photos of second bedroom.

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with all amenities located in a scenic countryside setting. Driving distance from Telluride, Ouray, Ridgway. Great for family vacations, hunting trips, hiking, and biking. This house is for rent nightly or weekly. We can not accommodate any pets. Please note that the base price is for 2 guests; additional guests are $30 each. We do keep track of the number of guests in the house, simply because we care about our home.

San Miguel River Get-Away - Easy Drive toTelluride

I love this "Down Valley " area of Telluride. It is a 17 minutes drive up river to downtown Telluride. Our riverfront deck sits right on the San Miguel. If you leave your bedroom window open you can hear it all night long. Being at 7500 feet, Fall Creek, is also nicer if you want an easy altitude adjustment! The unit modernly decorated with 900 generous square feet for two persons.
