My wife and I are the new owners! (1/31/26) We are restoring it's grandeur in this unincorporated town and community of 120 real Idahoans. Most rooms are small, with a bed, shower, bathroom, frig, and microwave. All rooms have a new Roku smart TV.We want you to spend ALL of your time in our wilderness; hiking, exploring, listening, smelling, but, most of all smiling and experiencing God's country. God has blessed Idaho! Come, hit the trails and see the best Idaho has to offer, in Elk City.

Palooza Basecamp: Room 02

Palooza Basecamp Hotel is located in a newly refreshed 100 yr old building. Rooms sport local artwork highlighting the area's beauty while comfortably accommodating your needs with adjustable beds, 40in TV's, walk-in showers, and backlit mirrors. A wide community hallway connects all of the rooms with a cozy mountain feel. Rooms have access to additional amenities. Room 02 hosts 2 Twin XL beds on the second level; you will enter the community hallway and have coded entry access to your room.

Mustang Inn - Queen Room 3 w/ Kitchenette

Join us at the Mustang Inn for your next hiking, hunting or recreational opportunity in the beautiful mountains of Lemhi County, ID. Our Veteran-owned and family-operated lodging and hospitality enterprise offers four clean and comfortable queen-sized rooms (or two suites) available either: (i) with kitchenette; or (ii) with extra twin bed. Complimentary guest amenities include outdoor gazebo, fire pit, laundry, coffee, and Starlink high-speed internet. Clean, comfortable, and convenient!

Studio Suite

Come home to your fully equipped studio, one-bathroom suite featuring a modern kitchen with all full-size appliances including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, range, pantry, and a kitchen island. Conveniently situated in every unit, the full-size washer dryer is accompanied by a living area adorned with modern design elements and comfortable furnishings. The bedroom offers maximum relaxation with a king-size bed, soothing color scheme and a closet with efficient storage shelving.

The Prospector Motel: Unit 4

This modern mountain getaway is opening for the first time since the commencement of its major remodel. This unique Slumberpad was built in the early seventies and went out of commission years ago. In total, our accommodation sleeps 17 comfortably. There are 4 units on the main level and 2 larger units on the upper. With a careful overhaul of modern touches mixed with a mountain vibe, this place is unlike another other place you might find in the quaint little town of Idaho City.

Entire Hotel for Private Rental

Located in the historic & completely renovated 115+ yr old IOOF Lodge (2015) you will feel like your staying in something right out of an Old West movie, but with all of the modern conveniences of today. Situated just across the street from Jackson Hot Springs (noted in Lewis & Clark's journal in July, 1806!) it is now available for rental as an entire whole property space for groups, families, work and other functions to enjoy the entire space together. We host Memorial Wknd through mid Oct. If you are NOT interested in reserving the ENTIRE PROPERTY, please wait to inquire about room availability until May 1st.
