Beautiful place and spotlessly clean. Very spacious — it’s actually bigger than it appears in the photos. Convenient 2-minute drive to ski area. Bretton Woods Vacations was great to work with; when we had one glitch with signing the contract due to a last-minute change (added a night), they were able to reconcile quickly. I suspect the issue was more an Airbnb technical glitch than anything BWV did. Overall a great stay — would definitely book thru BWV again and would certainly stay in this unit.

Very accommodating host, especially for a single night stay. Great breakfast and plenty to do within and outside the home!

When I got there Valerie greeted me. Everything was amazing. I'm so glad I stayed with her, she made me feel at home.

I have been to many wonderful B&Bs over the last 40 years (Canada, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Virginia, ...) and Brookhirst Farm ranks right at the top. Victoria and George are wonderful hosts. The accommodations are very comfortable, beautifully decorated and very homey. The view is incredible, one you would want to wake up to every morning. Every breakfast was delicious (George's pancakes were perfect). And if that isn't enough dogs are welcome. I will be returning more than once.

Pattie and Chris were a delight! Chris meet us at the gate and showed us around the cabin, returned with hot tea and an engaging conversation about wool (we are from Aotearoa, NZ and have a background in the world-of-wool) and other like minded topics. The cabin is cute, well lite (off the gid) and plenty of blankets for the cooler temperatures.

This is a very comfortable and pleasant B&B in a well-preserved and beautiful old house--they had a little guide to the history in each room. The beds are very comfortable to sleep in and the temperature in the rooms is nice and warm. Breakfast was delicious. The best thing about it was the hosts: they are very friendly and attentive. You get the impression they really like their guests and enjoy sharing their beautiful home. This place is an absolute gem.

Dr. Jerr is a very kind and generous host - he provided us with fresh coffee and breakfast snacks each morning during our stay. We loved the location on Cape Elizabeth, close to Portland, and to many beautiful coastal and woodland trail walks. We came home laden with fish, flash frozen from the fish markets in Portland - thank you Dr. Jerr for your recommendation. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Dr. Jerr for exploring the stunning Maine coast and hope to find ourselves back on Cape Elizabeth again next year. Tom & Gillian Hamilton

I was looking for a low cost room, clean and cosy, and it's exactly what I got. Instructions to get there was pretty sharp! Furthermore, Lynn was welcoming and generous. I would recommend.

Very comfortable suite in a well-appointed B&B. We will stay there again and recommend to friends.

The house is wonderful and Rick and Linda are great hosts. We really enjoyed the breakfast and Linda's homemade blueberry muffins. Her wonderful artwork and Rick's fabulous woodwork and home made furniture adorns the house. We enjoyed Rick showing us his furniture making shop. The lake is nearby and it's great to take a walk there. Everything is wonderful at their home.

My stay at Colonel Spencer Inn far exceeded all possible expectations. The building dates back to before the Revolutionary War and maintains all the charm of the era. David, the host, has wonderful stories about the inn's namesake, and the building's history. The breakfasts were gourmet. I can honestly say I have never, in my life, had a breakfast meal as wonderfully crafted as these. They were delicious, and fresh. They were not drowned in sauces or creams or other trickery; the made with the freshest of ingredients and prepared by a culinary master. This was every bit a wonderful stay.

Jill and Joe were very accommodating hosts of this lovely BnB. my room was clean and comfortable and the maid to order egg sandwich on sourdough for breakfast was perfect.

This was our first time staying at the Candlebay Inn and we definitely will be back. Connie was so wonderful and sweet, greeted us at the door—gave us a brief tour and local recommendations. The Daisy Room was super cozy, very clean and quiet. In the morning, home cooked breakfast was delicious, Connie was nice enough to tell us about the backstory of the inn which we really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!!

We had a great visit. Lisa made wonderful breakfasts with eggs from her hens, and freshly baked treats, including gluten free almond cake for me. She suggested Hedgehog mountain for a close and not really strenuous hike, and it was perfect, as was her dinner suggestion (Tooky Mills). Everyone at Copper Pot B&B was kind and accommodating. The bed was comfortable, the room was charming and the fireplace in the room was delightful. Our weekend could not have been better!

we had a very nice stay, Vivian was very inviting and we had very good conversation with her at check-in and also she made a fabulous breakfast and has a beautiful home also had very nice conversation at breakfast time as well! we definitely look forward to visiting again as the location is great for us highly recommended!

Vicki was a wonderful host! Her home was spotless. We felt right at home to enjoy common spaces. Our bedroom and bathroom were pristine. Vicki helped us figure out how to spend a rainy weekend in the area with local recommendations. Breakfast each morning was delicious and such a lovely touch… and her homemade oatmeal raisin cookies!!! SO good! We really enjoyed chatting with her in the mornings and afternoons but could tell she would be just fine with us doing our own thing if we preferred less interaction. Having the bonus living room upstairs was a major plus so we could watch movies until late without worrying about disturbing anyone. 10000/10! Thank you Vicki and Ken!

Great place! Renata and Amro are extremely kind, communicative, and lovely hosts.

Mary and Jim are wonderful hosts.They were very welcoming and made me feel at home. Jim prepared wonderful creative home made meals. I really enjoyed conversations about travel experiences and sitting by the fire with the pups! As a single traveler I highly recommend staying here. I hope to revisit some day to share more travel adventures Thank You so much! Josie

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

This is a beautiful place for 12 people to gather and celebrate. We filled the house with love, joy, and music. Tracey is responsive and helpful. Fantastic!

Great stay in the barn at Wise Pines! Chelsea gave super clear instructions and the welcome guide was very helpful! We had a private room which was cozy (especially with the provided space heater) and clean. We appreciated the white noise machine since our room was right next to the shared bathrooms and kitchenette. Overall great place to stay and I'd love to come back and stay for longer!

Beautiful location. Easy check in. The room was large and the food was delicious. And we had a great time meeting the goats, chickens, and cats!

The perfect place for a few days getaway will definitely be back someday
