If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

Viihdyimme 8 aikuisen ja koiran kanssa todella hyvin, oma rauha, kristallin kirkas vesi, hyvät löylyt, palju ja kattavat yhteis ja nukkumistilat tekivät vierailustamme todella viihtyisän ja onnistuneen. Lähimetsät tarjoilivat myös hyviä reittejä ja sieniä ja marjoja.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for large groups. The place felt brand new, and the view of the lake was simply breathtaking. The BBQ area was the best we’ve ever had at a cottage, and we loved having a pool table to enjoy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lake itself was large and beautiful, and rowing there was an unforgettable experience. The hot tub and sauna were also fantastic additions. Highly recommend!

Oli hienolla näköalalla oleva kiva mökki. Marjut oli tosi ystävällinen ja kaikki sujui hyvin. Takkakin oli jo valmiiksi lämmitetty kun tultiin paikan päälle. Jos asioi Puumalassa kyllä suosittelen vuokra mökki sieltä!

Die Bucht mit den acht Cottages ist traumhaft schön, der See wunderbar klar und besonders der Strand eignet sich super für den Urlaub mit Kindern, die noch nicht schwimmen können. Wir hatten eine tolle entspannte Zeit. Das Cottage ist sehr komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Aussicht auf den See von der Couch aus unvergesslich schön! Bequeme Betten, tolle Sauna, sehr sauber, alles da, was es braucht.

My family had an amazing weekend getaway at Elena's cottage by the lake. The house is beautiful and had all the amentities we needed and more. The natural surrounding are beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We would definately stay here again!

Really beautiful environment: peaceful private cottage in forest next to a small lake. Warm and cosy with all modern equipment. The sauna was the best. Clean cottage. Friendly host. Perfect. Warm even in winter.

Es hat uns gefallen, das Haus hatte die perfekte Größe. Die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, und der Ofen funktioniert. Die Sauna heizt richtig gut, und uns hat der Standort gefallen. Der einzige Punkt, den wir als negativ werten, ist das mit dem Holz. Ich finde, die Hitze der Sauna ist sehr individuell. Klar habt ihr im Beschrieb erwähnt, dass das Holz rationiert ist, aber wir empfinden das als suboptimal. Wir sind zweimal nicht in die Sauna gegangen und haben das Holz entsprechend eingeteilt. Für uns ist das etwas umständlich und eine einbusse auf etwas zu verzichten in den wohlverdienten Ferien. Ich würde zusätzlich in der Wintervermietung Utensilien für das Eis zur Verfügung stellen, z. B. Eisretter oder Spikes für die Schuhe. Das ist mehr ein „Nice to have“.

Aarre Saimaan sylissä - tunnelmalliset, kauniisti sisustetut hirsirakennukset ja hyvät mukavuudet. Saunan lempeät löylyt, uinti puhtain jaloin ja maisemaan sopivat oleskelu- ja ruokailupaikat kruunasivat kokemuksen. Ja Marja-Tertun sydämellinen vastaanotto selkeine ohjeineen sai tuntemaan tervetulleeksi kesäparatiisiin. Viihdyimme ja suosittelemme!

Magnifique chalet, au bord d’un lac parfaitement paisible. Rien ne manque, Maksimilian a même mis à disposition un kit de pêche. Un bateau permet de profiter du lac. Enfin, un sauna très agréable est également disponible.

La casa era esattamente ciò che stavamo cercando: uno chalet in mezzo al bosco, a pieno contatto con la natura, perfetto per ammirare la zona dei laghi. Eravamo proprio su un lago praticamente tutto per noi, abbiamo fatto anche un bel giro in lago con la barchetta a remi (c’era anche il motore ma non l’abbiamo usato) e la sauna tutta per noi! Stupendo!!! La sera mangiare all’aperto nel silenzio è stato meraviglioso. Quando rientravamo in casa accendevamo il camino, bellissimo I bambini hanno apprezzato in particolare le freccette e il molo sul lago. La casa aveva tutte le comodità, anche se il bagno era esterno e biologico: un buco con un secchio sotto, in cui bisognava buttare del concime tra una volta e l’altra, ma era tutto segnalato ed è stato anche divertente! L’unico neo è stata la pulizia, perché la casa non era pulitissima, ma così in mezzo al bosco potevamo tranquillamente sopportare: abbiamo pulito un pochino noi e ci siamo adattati. In generale la consiglio tantissimo!!

Upea paikka omassa rauhassa. Hyvä uimaranta ja rantasauna, ihanat aurinkoterassit. Päämökki hieman ahdas majoittumiseen neljälle, mutta rantasaunalla oli mukavasti lisää nukkumapaikkoja. Kommunikointi oli sujuvaa.

Wir waren drei Nächte zu Gast und dies ist unser erster Finnlandurlaub. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne jederzeit wiederkommen. Es ist ein sehr schöner Ort.

Mökki varusteineen vastasi kuvausta. Paikka oli kuvankaunis ja rauhallinen, saunassa hyvät löylyt ja bonuksena upea näkymä järvelle. Kauniilla säällä aivan täydellinen paikka, kun vietimme aikaa ulkoillen ja ruokailimmekin terassilla.

Erinomainen sijainti, rauhallinen paikka, koko perhe on viihtynyt! Sampo on ystävällinen ja oli helppo kommunikoida, kiitos!

Anne was a great host and her explanations about how to use the sauna and everything else were clear. The family's Mökki is a fantastic place in nature to relax in complete peace. The surrounding area on the terrace and in the garden is also lovingly designed. Also the way to Lappeenranta is not too far away. Many thanks, Anne.

I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cottage. It offers an authentic rustic Finnish experience, complete with a sauna, nearby lake, and a beautiful forest filled with berries and moss. My dog especially loved playing in the spacious yard. The only thing to note is that during the cooler October weather, it took a little time to get the furnace heated up to a comfortable level, so keep that in mind if warmth is a priority. Overall, it was a relaxing and tranquil escape with all the charm of nature right at your doorstep.

We loved being in this cottage, it was cosy, beautifully decorated and with an amazing view to the lake. The surroundings were also extremely beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the forest and around the lake. Our litte one enjoyed the stay too, there were some toys in the house and lots of nature around to explore safely. All in all, we loved our stay and we hope to come back one day!
