Located in the center of the Kootenays, between Red Mountain, Whitewater and endless backcountry winter adventures. Comfort, charm, and beautiful scenery all in one stay.

Delightful one bedroom log cabin

Get away from it all when you stay in a very special, cozy log cabin in a beautiful nature setting right beside the rail trail and lots of beautiful rivers and lakes near by. This unique cabin has a sink with running water, a fridge, micro wave and a coffee bar with a coffee machine where you can enjoy your morning coffee sitting on a barstool. A very comfortable couch is pulled out into a double bed. There is a picnic table on the porch. This cabin comes with its own outhouse for your safety.

Beautiful Soaker Tub, King Bed, and Comfy Space

I have endeavored to create a comfortable space that provides a wonderful base for adventuring. The walls are covered in local art, I love showcasing local artisans. Paintings are reminiscent of Nelson and are for sale. The beautiful king sized bed and live edge wood counters are taken from sustainably harvested trees and created by a local craftsman. The upstairs is spacious and features a wood burning stove. The downstairs is a beautiful grotto bathroom with a sunken tub big enough for two.

The sun-drenched deck faces a gorgeous ponderosa pine, and is a few steps away from an active game trail. We share this beautiful seven acre property with elk, deer, rabbits, a friendly neighbourhood fox, two ravens, and countless wild turkeys who enjoy eating Gabriela’s rye and buckwheat flowers.

Our house is your house and we want you to feel at home at the Park Street Suite that over looks Happy Valley. The Suite is a 5 minute walk from downtown Rossland and 4.5 kms from Red Mountain Ski Resort. From this friendly location you can access world class hiking and biking trails, Red Mountain ski resort and Redstone Golf course. Guests have access to a ski locker at Red Mountain and secure bike storage on the premises.

Features one bedroom with Queen size bed, kitchen with 2 burner induction stovetop, toaster oven and bar fridge. *Bathroom located a short distance from Casita (outdoor entrance attached to our home).
