The Bear's Den

Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

Close to many activities including white water rafting, hiking, biking, waterfalls and scenic drives. 30 minutes to Highlands for great shopping & Dry Falls!

The Extra House

We have a comfortable Extra House we call it. Extra cozy extra cute Extra House. The house is right on the Tallulah River in Towns County. There is fishing/swimming hole about 100 ' up river and a waterfall up a trail behind the Big House about a 30 minute hike up and back. Longer if you jump in the falls. Trout fishing out the door and 6 miles of fishing along the main road. We have a 250' zipline into a swiming pond or get off before the water. Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls.

Just a 10 minute drive to historic downtown Franklin and a 20 minute scenic drive to beautiful waterfalls and breathtaking mountain views! This house is truly a home. Stay at one of the most unique and stunning vacation rentals in the Smoky Mountains! The cabin is located at the end of private road deep within the Nantahala National Forest, but located conveniently between Franklin, North Carolina and Clayton, Georgia.

Great get away for two in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. Close to town, waterfalls, hiking and scenic views. Located in Franklin, NC and about an hours drive to Asheville, Cherokee, Maggie Valley, Bryson City and Clayton, GA! This unit is one of two available spaces attached to our home with private entrance, bed and bathroom. Easy access off state maintained paved road without sacrificing beautiful mountain views! No stairs to deal with!
