My sister and I stayed for 4 nights in April 2025. The house down under is just perfect. So well equipped. Patrick and Indira are excellent hosts. Patrick gave excellent advice for our touring. Thank you both. I absolutely recommend staying at your house down under.

We loved our stay in Launceston! The location was amazing and the view from the deck, kitchen, main room and ensuite was incredible! Heated bathroom floor downstairs was a big plus. Driveway was a little tight and steep but safe and off street parking. So easy to drive into town. We had pizza at the Pizza Pub and also drove to the Cataract Gorge Chairlift for lunch which was really nice. House had everything we needed and the oven was a big hit! Loved our stay and wish it was longer!

Always a great stay at Amanda's house. The place is always clean, it's a great size and in a great location. This was my second visit and it's worth every cent. Amanda also left Easter eggs out for my little ones which was very considerate of her. 🙂

Had a perfect stay here for a family of 5 with one baby. Wish we stayed here longer and it felt like home away from home. Host was kind enough to prepare the room catered to our 5 month old, even though we’re only there for a night. Would definitely return here again for a few more nights :)

Was a great stay. Magnus was very responsive and helpful. The place was quite new and very cozy, and had everything we needed. Parking was very convenient. Would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Launceston.

Dale's apartment was the perfect place to stay for a weekend in Launceston. The location was fantastic, surrounded by lots of great cafes, wine bars and restaurants with the entire CBD walkable in less than 15 minutes. The place itself was generous in size and very comfortable, even without heating on you could tell it was well insulated and had a lot of great storage making our stay very comfortable. The other big plus was the big lock up garage, we had a Suzuki Vitara and it fit easily, even though there was a car park near by it was nice to know we had a secure park. There was really nothing to fault, we had a great long weekend.

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment. It is very clean and comfortable, and there are so many thoughtful touches throughout. Fantastic value for money - I will definitely be back!

An unassuming black door leads you up the stairs (*no elevator) to Apartment 3. Upon entry, the living room was well lit with a nice bay window to view the shops and street below. Through a long hallway with super high ceilings there are 2 large spacious bdrms (1 king + 1 queen). Super comfy mattress, pillows and duvet. Plenty of heating for the apt. The bathroom is practical, although not a lot of bench space + shower head needs repair (*owner notified). Kitchen had an interesting setup which allowed for an open concept to the alfresco outdoors and voila a bar. There is no dining area, the peninsula is the eating space unless weather is nice, then have your meals outside. Kitchen and Bathrooms are well equipped, complete with commodities for use. Good wifi + smart tv. We stayed 1 nite and it was noisy, lots of hooning and lots of cars just going nuts. It is located at the city centre so its as predicted for fri nite public holiday - no issues for us. Thanks for early/late checks ins.

My family and I loved staying at Jo's place. Lots of space in the apartment and an amazing assortment of toys, books and craft supplies. There was a generous supply of breakfast foods and basic essentials which we really appreciated. Gorgeous view and very adorable bunnies.

Bernadette’s place is the lower flat in a heritage listed building in central Launceston. The building is fascinating if you are interested in the heritage of Australian cities. The original features are there but the apartment is also very comfortable and clean. Externally the building is still being renovated, but that tells a story in itself. We spent a comfortable night there, we would come back when next in Launceston, we would recommend it.
