Stone built cottage sleeps 6 in three bedrooms located within ten minutes walk of Baltimore Village and just a few hundred Yards from Casey's hotel. The two story cottage was fully refurbished in 2017 and features a double En suite bedroom on the ground floor, a modern kitchen with and a log fire stove. The sitting room featured a stove and flat screen TV and Unlimited fibre optic WiFi all over the house. Upstairs there is a double room along with a family bathroom and a Twin En-suite bathroom.

The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. Ilen Cottage is a peaceful hide away, for two, on the edge of the Ilen Estuary. With access to the water sailing, kayaking, swimming good, observe sea birds, seals and otters. Walking and exploring islands are also popular activities here. The cottage is 15mins from Skibbereen and Ballydehob and a perfect base for exploring beautiful West Cork. This is self catering accommodation so best to pick up your provisions in Skibbereen and experience the many restaurants in Ballydehob and around.

There is a choice of small beaches a stones throw away and spectacular views of the ever changing Atlantic ocean from Baltimore’s famous Beacon only a short walk away. The other direction brings you to the square where there is a choice of pubs and restaurants, whale watching trips and ferries to the islands of Sherkin and Cape Clear.
