I had a fantastic stay at this property! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The attention to detail was evident—from the fresh linens to the well-stocked kitchen. The host was responsive and made check-in and check-out seamless. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore the area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We had a wonderful new years trip staying at this place with multiple families and young children. The property was enormous with lots of space to play in the snow, and the inside was clean and spacious. Kendra was very kind and helped us out with early check-in and late check out, and was quick to help us arrange a solution when we left things behind. We would highly recommend Calabogie House!

We loved our stay at Otter Lake, the home was perfect for a large group, had everything we needed and the location was perfect. It was clean and super spacious with lots of entertainment options indoor and outdoor. Looking forward to another visit!

The lake house was a lovely stay. First of all, the lakefront is beautiful and I enjoyed dangling my feet in the water and watching the sunset from the fire pit. The space inside was immaculate, comfortable, well-designed, and spacious. I let Andrea know the WiFi router had an issue, and within minutes she was on the phone with the company resolving the issue for me. I definitely recommend this home and would gladly stay here again.

Taylor's house is a new construction with modern amenities and plenty of space for a larger family or group. Our group required a small accommodation that Taylor graciously accepted and we appreciated that very much. The house is just outside the East Gate of Algonquin Park and would be very convenient for someone wanting to explore the great hiking trails in the park. For us, the close proximity to the Opeongo River and Upper Madawaska River was perfect for our group to do some spring paddling. The hot tub was a welcome feature after a long day of paddling.

A beautiful cottage on a pristine lake. Beautiful spacious well equipped deck overlooking a swimable sandy beach front. You can walk out into the lake in what seems to be forever enjoying a sandy bottom - no weeds, no rocks!! Comfy fire pit and bbq conveniently located near the beach. Cottage was bright, open concept with a modern kitchen, great appliances and expansive dining room table for great gatherings and game nights. Three comfy bedrooms and clean washroom. Great communication with Tania. Very responsive. Will definitely consider returning next summer. Thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cottage.

Very serene, private location with a fabulous deck to immerse yourself in nature. The leaves were very colorful, and we saw a family of 4 deer in the front yard! What an experience! The cottage is a beautifully restored farm house with updated conveniences as well as some personalized rustic touches, for example the sink in the bathroom is magnificent, and the dining table is huge and hand crafted so food could be served at one end and our pre schooler could work on puzzles at the other end. We enjoyed several campfires where our grandson roasted marshmallows for the first time. The cottage was well decorated and furnished, and very comfortable, especially for a multi generation family; it was even equipped with "fairy lights" in an upstairs bedroom. We had such a great time enjoying new adventures every day. Thank you Victoria for sharing your lovely rural property. We definitely plan on returning next year. The house was spacious and open, very clean with all amenities. The robes were a nice touch. We enjoyed the deer coming out to feed in the back field almost nightly around 7:00 PM and saw lots of turkey in the mid-morning. Such a peaceful place to stay with a Metro grocery store less than 15 minutes away. We have and will continue to recommend to our friends and family to stay here for any upcoming get-aways they may be planning. Thank you for providing your home. The memories made there will last a lifetime!

This was our first stay at the Madawaskan and we're already planning our return! The place was even better than it looks in the pictures and we were blown away when we first walked in. It smelled like a cedar cabin and was impeccably clean. The open concept living room, dinning room and kitchen was the perfect set up for our family of 6 and offered plenty of seating for everyone. We also loved the fact that there is no tv on the main floor I thought we'd miss it, but it was the opposite. The kids even commented that they were happy it was in the basement - and we didn't even turn it on in 3 days. That's kind of a big deal when you have kids and teens. 😂 The house was fully stocked with everything you'll need! All of the things like linens, towels, dishes and cookware were of good quality and clean. I'd even forgot to pack my blow dry and low and behold, there was one the bathroom! The hosts made sure you want for not and are completely equipped!

Above and beyond our expectations! The kids loved playing in the loft and the massive beam bag was a crowd favourite. Kitchen table sat everyone comfortably and perfect for all the hours of board games played. TV area in the basement was perfect to watch the hockey games and extra bar fridge handy for our drinks. Kitchen had everything you needed including compost and recycling bins. Beds were extremely comfortable and family room very capacious and cozy. My family has rented many cottages before and this ranks as our favourite, we will be back next year.

A cozy cabin right next to the national park — the location in Whitney is perfect! It's close to both the park and local amenities. Ruoqi's home was spotless, comfortable, and just as she described. The view from the deck is beautiful. I hope to have the chance to return in the future!

Newly renovated place, very clean, quiate and comfortable. Nimal is a very polite and nice host. He responds very quickly.

We have stayed here twice now, excellent experience both times. The hosts are extremely helpful and responsive.

Pictures do not do this property justice! The land is beautiful, well maintained, and filled with wildlife. We hung out with their hens (who left us some pretty delicious fresh eggs for breakfast), watched the cows graze right next door & saw so many birds (blue jays included) while going on a walk around the property.. plus, we heard some coyotes (we think) howling in the distance while we had a fire! So cool. Lotsss of lady bugs, which didn’t bother us at first, only a bit when trying to sleep and they were crawling too close to our pillows. We shoo’ed them away and then didn’t notice them again for the night. Probably depends on the season, but we were just happy to not have a bunch of mosquitos out yet! The house itself is decorated so nicely, and fully stocked with everything you could need at a cabin. Smart TVs, blankets, board games & record player with lots of options inside in case the weather doesn’t cooperate. Hosts were super friendly & replied fast everyday! Will return!!

We stayed in April so it wasn't swimming weather to use the pool. Whoever gets a chance to stay will enjoy the pool once open though overlooking the entrance to the lake. The whole place was great and communication was excellent with Bobby. We felt very comfortable and relaxed during our Easter weekend stay. The place was really clean. Had accessable board games and things in the house for rainy days. We didn't have enough time to really explore but on the way in there were definitely many places to visit and experience what Calabogie has to offer. This could be a nice family spot, or a romantic getaway, or a place to use while exploring the outdoors. Just perfect. Thank you Bobby, we really appreciated the time we spent at your special place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lorie's cottage! The cottage was incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Despite the first two days being cold and rainy, we had a fantastic time indoors, spending quality time with our kids playing board games and doing puzzles. Once the weather improved, we took full advantage of the lake. The water was warm and perfect for swimming, and we loved having access to kayaks, a pedal boat, and paddle boards. It's the ideal place for a peaceful escape, and we would highly recommend Lorie's cottage to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.
