Our newly built second home is located in Útey 2, by the Laugarvatn Lake. Útey 2 used to be an old farm and is around 720 acres (320 hectares) and have been in the family for generations. Most of the south side of Lake Laugarvatn is part of the land so you can have complete privacy. You can take a long walks in private, go paddling in our double seated canoe, relax in the hottub with tens of km. of unobstructive view, watch the birdlife and even try your luck fishing for trout.

The Cabin is cosy and comfortable. The cabin offers stunning Mountain view across the south of Iceland (Mt Hekla). There is a fully equipped kitchen, gas Barbeque, a fireplace, and a Jacuzzi with hydromassage. There are inside and outside showers and a upstairs lounge with a Smart TV incl. streaming services.
